Description
Download and install the Hangouts Dialer to start making phone calls in the Hangouts app. After installation, you can access all voice calling features directly from Hangouts or use Hangouts Dialer as a shortcut to make phone calls from the dialer screen in Hangouts.
● Make phone calls over data from the Hangouts app - call any phone number, including landlines.
● Use Outbound Caller ID - people who you call will see your verified number when you call them (no more appearing as Unknown!)
● Connect with your Google Voice number to make VOIP calls in the Hangouts app from your Google Voice number.

3 ★ I have this trouble with joining calls that have a pass code. Whenever I dial with hangouts dialer, I fail to connect... I always get the wrong pass code issue. But when I try from cisco or any other apps, I don't have that problem. Please fix this.
1 ★ this app stopped working and when you dial a number the other side picks up we can hear them, but they cannot hear us. When the phone connects, we could only hear the other party, but the app still says that it's calling out and my microphone is not working. There is a problem with the phone provider that Google uses that it does not send the signal that it connected.
5 ★ So I have been using Google's voice over Internet Protocol for many, many years. I was using it even before the Google Voice app was developed. Back then you had to Port your Google email account with a company called Gizmo in order to create the VoIP phone number. You then had to manually input your settings in an app called a sip dialer in order for the phone called to connect. Then Google bought Gizmo5, developed Google Voice, and now Hangouts is getting close to perfect.
4 ★ Very happy w/chat in Hangout, and use the dialer frequently. I have some comments, that I hope will be addressed. Why do we need to have both Hangout Dialer on the cell and Hangout, when both apps provide the same access? On a cell with limited space, it is a taker. Why do I only get a vibrate for incoming Hangout calls and not my ringtone already set on max? Is it possible to have speaker phone activated during calls? Why do I not see any responses from the developers to reviews?
1 ★ Last updated in 2015?! Google voice is awesome but is there a different app that we are supposed to use now??? It says that the app was developed for an older version of Android and won't allow phone dialing!
1 ★ Needs a lot of work. Bluetooth head phones get disconnected when network is interrupted during call. Every time a call is in progress using headphones or bluetooth and phone gets locked, upon unlocking the phone the dialer disappears and ongoing call can only be accessed from notifications. Why can't I go back to the ongoing call when I open the app? There is absolutely no other way to get back to the call apart from opening notifications.
1 ★ I was able to use Hangouts on previous version but now I get this error saying "app is built for older versions. Please contact developer". I am unable to place calls the app exits automatically on dialling. Please help for this issue.
5 ★ A very good app. Was very helpful when I was on my tour to foreign countries. I was able to make calls to any number in India when I was in USA with my son for six months.whatsapp calls can be made only to phones with whatsapp. But this app is really great.
5 ★ It is an amazing app! Love it. I am making lot of free calls to India to US. :) Voice is crystal clear. This is better than Skype or Whatsapp. however, no comparison to those kind of app.. because, here we can dial directly to the cell.
1 ★ Worst.. Totally works like hell.. Always gives echo of our own voice and we can't even speak properly for even 15 sec on this. After 10 to 15 sec it automatically disconnects or goes blank..
4 ★ Ummmm getting to know the app and all sides of its features i enjoy the delightfull tunnel of hanzel and gretyl tunnel funnel vision into its multifaced design. It leaves me content on exploring more of its lovely features again,and again,so on and so forth. All in all, it at least links my digital contacts in such a virtual way, so thats good...ya know;)
1 ★ Hi Team, I have been using this app for so long. But after I updated my phone this app stopped working. And I am getting the error message saying "The app was built for an older version of Android and may not work properly. please contact the developer" Please help in resolving this issue.
1 ★ I added $10 credit, no way to contact anybody, the developer email isn't monitored. The customer support just sends you in circles, no way to contact anyone, it just sends you to forum after forum. Absolutely useless
2 ★ Outbound caller ID not working even after verifying mobile number. Besides that, it's just a shortcut to the phone screen in Hangouts.
1 ★ Hangouts used to be good but now after you install updates the app is super slow to load. Even just loading up a single message it is really slow. Google please roll back the updates to the old version!! It was much better!! And quick to load!
