Description
Taking forward its continuous efforts of building an active democratic citizenry in the country, the Election Commission of India has undertaken a new initiative by designing a Mobile Application for developing a culture of avid electoral engagement and making informed and ethical ballot decisions among citizens of the country. The app aims to provide a single point of service and information delivery to voters across the country. The app provides the following facilities to Indian voters:
A. Electoral Search (#GoVerify your name in the electoral roll)
B. Submission of online forms for New Voter Registration, Shifting to a
different constituency, Overseas Voters, Deletion or Objection in the electoral
roll, Correction of entries & Transposition within the Assembly.
C. Register Complaints related to Electoral Services and track its disposal
status
D. FAQ on Voter, Elections, EVM, & Results
E. Service & Resources for Voters & Electoral Officers
F: Find the Election Schedule in your area
G: Find all the candidates, their profile, Income Statement, assets, criminal
cases
H: Find the Polling Officials and call them: BLO, ERO, DEO, and CEO

Voter Helpline v10.5.11 APK requires following permissions:
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

1 ★ Useless app. Server doesn't respond when you furnish details. OTP doesn't come when you want to register. It's quite useless as the EC itself when it comes to conducting free & fair elections.
1 ★ Required every time login..Doesn't work for new voter registration. i have tried many times but every time its fail and also doesn't give the information of track application status, and BLO information worst app.
2 ★ Its been around 10 yrs I got registered as voter but till today I havnt received my voter id card. There is no option in app to apply for issuance of voter id card for the first time. One can only apply for mutilated or lost card but what about those who never received one. And if anyone is not receiving Otp then first change password on website and then try login on app. Buggy app
4 ★ Everytime the screen is changed it ask for OTP. When you open the sms screen to check OTP , it again takes to log in screen to generate OTP. The reference no generated is too complex.. should not be more than 10 digit.
1 ★ Login issue still not resolved This app is no longer working. I am a registered user with my EPIC numbers. Still, for the last 5 or 6 months, the voter helpline app is not being logged on... and neither the voter i'd is not coming out after entering the EPIC number in the search option, that is, the search option is also not working in the voter helpline app. have been. I have complained many times on the call, on Mail i'd for this problem. But so far this problem has not been resolved.
1 ★ Everytime when I try to login, comes server error, from last 7 days, I can't login due to server eror. "Related to server" Whenever Of you leave app for few days, before opening, it shows a update notification, What is this, in every week this app require updation. " APP UPDATE ISSUE" and after every update shows some bugs.
1 ★ This is a pethetic app. Whenever I want to check the status of the application submitted. It shows login. I tried in many ways to log but when I try to create password and submit it always shows one upper charector one numeric etc. I had been trying for last one week. Please rectify the app
3 ★ App is good but many improvements needed. I submitted form 8 against shifting of residence. My form was accepted however I am not able to track the current status as it asks to put application reference number. I haven't received application reference number in text message and forgot to note it down at time of application submission. This shouldn't happen. User should get an update of his application.
1 ★ Issues are: 1) Both old and new constituency details are shown for same EPIC ID. During application for deletion of older constituency details through this app, there is an error message 'HTTP 400 Bad Request'. So not able to apply for deletion. 2) Not able to raise a grievance through app from option 'Lodge Grievance'. It throws error 'Failed'.
1 ★ Worst govt. application ever! I like to keep very strong passwords and hence the password for my registered account is more than 16 characters long. However , the designers of the application allow us to enter only 16 characters in the textbox for password. Hence, this app is completely useless to me thanks to the devs :)
1 ★ Forgotten Password option a nightmare. Once u try resetting Password. Even if you ensuring to follow the criteria theynask to reset the password it just doesn't reset. I had to change my number and set up password but unfortunately I forgot the password yet again thanks to their annoying criteria which I feel I have met yet they ask to reset again and again ensuring we ourselves forget the password. At least have a OTP option. Ridiculous
1 ★ It says no record found but the details can be found on website. One of the worst app. Very complex design & unable to get my voter card. I register for voter card in 2019 & it's been years & haven't received my card yet. For wrongfully voting the officer might had kept my voter card. I have no idea how to get it & this app is not helping at all.
1 ★ I want to register as New User. but it always shows "SOMETHING WENT WRONG PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER" I've been trying since last 3 days, everyday its the same even after UPDATING the app, and trying Multiple times with Different internet connections, and Different devices as well. FIX THIS.
1 ★ I was trying to make corrections but why do i have to enter the relative name in regional language. It would have been better if it translated itself to preferred regional language when typed in english as there are many people who don't know how to type in regional language including me.
2 ★ I can't even register myself to get started, the app never sends an OTP after entering the details and gets stuck. The website of voter's portal does the same thing. Any help of on this would be appreciated
