1 ★ Despite searching for remote jobs it will consistently show jobs that are required for a city. This has caused issues because I will review a job listing, get my hopes up, and then see you have to be located in "XYZ" city. Even though I have my location is in a completely different state and no relocation option selected I am still shown these jobs. As there is no suggestions options on the app I am placing my complaint here. I am very close to not using this service any more because of this.
1 ★ I don't know why this app even has a filter option. Regardless of what you select it doesn't show you what you're looking for. Want to search for something part time nearby? Well too bad here are results with locations hours away. You put "within 5 miles" well doesn't matter. Very annoying and unreliable, better off using glassdoor or another job search.
4 ★ I like this app. The only issue I have is with it saving my preferences. I can't choose jobs in multiple cities or areas in the search preferences but even if I choose a particular city, it still shows results for lots of cities. I would also like to sort the job results list by distance. All in all it's a good app for finding all kinds of jobs. I still give it 4 stars! Thank you!
5 ★ I am big fan of Indeed! Every job I have gotten, started with me browsing thru the jobs listed on Indeed. I love that you can do a resume, and have a resume expert check it for you, and point out mistakes you've made. They give you suggestions on words to replace the ones they found to be a mistake. There are a lot of job boards out there, but they do not compare at all too Indeed. So, if you are looking for a job, my suggestion would be to download the Indeed app and start browsing
3 ★ Overall the app is easy to use. But there is an issue that needs to be fixed. When you try to filter the jobs, the "Education" defaults to "Doctoral Degree". And when you try to select another education level, as soon as you hit "Update", the selection jumps back to "Doctoral Degree". It takes multiple attempts to actually change the education level. And then if you click on filters again, it switches the selection back to "Doctoral Degree" so you have to recheck it. Very frustrating. Please fix
5 ★ I have been in a rough spot finding the right place to work over the past year. Indeed keeps you up to speed with the newest listings daily! The ease of keeping a resume ready to apply in a few buttons is a time saver, for sure. They even in depth assessments to show employers you can handle the tough interview questions about handling all kinds of "occupational hazards". If you use this and don't get a job within a month, your either too picky or not trying hard enough.
4 ★ So far so good, I guess. Haven't been on here for long. The way I'm looking for a job rn cause I don't have a vehicle is through Google maps. I just zoom out a little on my area and literally call every business that pops up. Got lucky calling one, they said they had a job opening on indeed and to apply. Glad I had the indeed app. They helped me create a resume too.
3 ★ it could be alright, but the interface is terrible, particularly the messaging system. there is literally no way to scroll up to see past messages- "pulling" down on the chat just prompts it to refresh and reload. it's also not clear how it decides which jobs to show you, most I am either wildly over or under qualified for.
2 ★ Its pretty rare to get a response from employers, even for a rejection. Also Its really hard to search for appropriate jobs. Im trying to find a position in a biological science settings, and many but not all positions require licensing for legal purposes. It's difficult to find an apporpriate job as opposed to one that I dont have the legal requirments for. Basically, the search function is trash. Also if you do assesments do them on a computer. Its hard on mobile.
4 ★ I really appreciate this app, but the fallow up emails with hyper link to share test results only gives 3 browsers. I don't use any of those on my android phone, and honestly only 1 is kinda an upgrade. Can't share the results unless I put one of those browsers in my phone, I already went into settings in app and clicked on all the options. Oh well if I get a response or 2 from the employers then great if not that's OK too.
5 ★ indeed is very well organized when it comes to providing jobs that you are asking for. example if you ask for clerk specialist indeed will only send you Clark specialist and some that might be relatable. indeed is one of the biggest platforms for job searching and I suggest everyone to at least update the resume every time you learn a new skill and always keep your notifications on if you're serious about looking for a job.
3 ★ Experience and everything has been good, I've gotten multiple jobs on this app but while in a conversation with a future employer in messages you can't scroll in the messages without the page reloading everytime so you can't see the top portion of the message. This sucks because I'm trying to responde but don't know what it says because it just refreshes the page.
5 ★ I absolutely love this app! I have found many opportunities for jobs I would never have thought I qualified for! The free and easy resume building, the ability to choose my desired pay, available hours, preferred location, and more is definitely a game changer in job searching! The way they put you out there shows by the numerous invites companies send you! I will always choose Indeed over any other job agency and highly recommend them to anyone who'll listen!
1 ★ Frozen app. not only has it resulted in zero job offers after twenty three applications files thus fare but now the app has stopped working completely. Tho it loads, and refreshes jobs, it is not allowing me to scroll, search, click on jobs or even open the settings bar the app is not responding at all and I've tried everything. Closing the app completely and re opening it, forcing it to stop, updating, I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling and now it wont log in.
3 ★ It is what it is but I'll put a filter for $20 minimum and get loads of $15 jobs. No option to filter out the hundreds of Amazon jobs. Not sure how the algorithm works but indeed has become to tinder for job searching with all the catfish ads. "Customer service" "account manager"...just means sales but the filter is almost useless. Needs a way to filter out certain jobs. I don't want sales or delivery but that's all that shows up
