How does PickMeUp work?
PickMeUp is an on-demand minibus service. It will pick you up from a ‘virtual bus stop’ within a short walkable distance of where you are. The intelligent software works out the best way to take you and our other passengers to their chosen destinations. Simply register your credit or debit card, or pay via PayPal and we’ll be with you in around 10 minutes. You can think of it like a car-pool, only bigger – and you never have to drive yourself! It’s cheaper than a taxi and comes whenever you want it.
When does it operate?
Service operates on weekdays from 06:00 hrs until 23:00 hrs daily, from 08:30 hrs until 19:30 hrs Saturday, and from 08:30 hrs until 19:00 on Sundays. (Bank holidays will operate to Sunday service hours).
How long will I wait?
On average, PickMeUp will come to you in around 10 minutes* and you'll always get an accurate estimate of your pick-up ETA before booking. You can also track your PickMeUp minibus in real- time using the app.

How many passengers will I share a car with?
We’re accepting group bookings of up to 17 seated passengers, or 22 including five standing passengers! Our minibuses can comfortably accommodate up to 22 people.
How much will it cost me?
PickMeUp offers a flat fare, so you’ll always know the price before you decide to ride (unlike a taxi that can become unexpectedly expensive, for example when you’re stuck in traffic, or having to make a detour). We show you the cost of your journey up front so you’ll never have any surprises.

3 ★ Good in theory, in practice impossible to get availability except in quiet times. Have downloaded the app a few times thinking I would use it when I don't have my bike and I've just not been able to get on one! Always ends up being deleted from my phone...
1 ★ Rubbish app provided by bus company who have no control over their aggressive moronic drivers
1 ★ It could have been so good. Instead it's inflexible to the point of being unworkable. Minibuses regularly pass with one or at most two passengers aboard. Worse still, all are within a few minutes walk of regular bus routes, yet the outlying villages have to make do with little or no public transport. Scrap it and start again.
1 ★ Every time tried to book a pick up, it's always full. Also I can't see the point that when the purpose of the service is offering more convience transport than the traditional bus, and maybe cheaper than taxi, but then it can't go anyway outside of the central Oxford. Disappointed first time, deleted the app. Then thought could give another chance, very disappointed again. Nah that's it. Bye!
5 ★ Nice service overall. Could be improved if nearby pick-up and drop-off points can be visible to users before finalising a booking. Also, the advance booking system seem to have stopped working.
1 ★ Dissapointed! The app doesn't work well so I cannot book my trips. There seems to be some system errors in the app or they advertise they can drop me off at a point I want but the app doesnt let me book it. The helpdesk reply to my emails promptly but they seem to be unable to fix or provide me with effective solutions.
1 ★ no advance notice if they can't pick you up makes this service unreliable. Its early days, but advance notice is a MUST! Otherwise people will stop using the service which will be tragic
1 ★ This started well, but inflexible and poorly trained drivers combined with very poor software has made the service almost unusable. This is a bus service with a dynamic route, but is being operated by the drivers like a taxi service. For example, a 3min detour this evening to pick up another passenger turned into a 15 mins detour when the driver decided that he would do several laps of the block until the passenger arrived. To be successful, these guys absolutely need to commit to the long term vision. Putting many more buses on the road initially will lead to a higher burn rate and lower utilisation in the short term, but will create a much better first impression with shorter waiting times and will ultimately convert many more people to loyal customers.
5 ★ The next best thing since Uber is not available (at time of writing) in Oxford. Extremely affordable at £2.50 flat rate anywhere in Oxford
5 ★ This is a brilliant service near enough door-to-door. Had friendly chats with drivers on the way - pretty much like a taxi service... but way cheaper! Definately use it more... bye bye taxis!!!

2 ★ There's a glitch in that it's only letting me select Sundays after 6pm!
5 ★ Love the service it helps get me to work and from the station. All good no problems at all. Keep it up and with time sure you will expand.
2 ★ Oxford Bus Company should focus in providing a night bus service (in the weekends at least). This service has even a more limited timetable than normal buses.
5 ★ Works really well. Some journeys require me to change busses and walk a kilometer, this is a great alternative
