Description
Output is 16 bit for each left and right channels and at 44.1kHz. Output will depend on your device hardware. Some device hardware may may filter out the DC bias and low frequency signals. At high frequencies, the waveforms will be distorted due to limited number of samples for each waveform (for example at 4.41kHz, a sine waveform will be approximated by only 10 points). Therefore this is for fun/educational use, for critical applications use a real calibrated function generator.
Left and Right audio channels can be assigned to either channel 1 or channel 2.
Sine, Square & Triangular waveforms.
Frequency range from 1 mHz up to 22 kHz.
Amplitude as percentage 0-100%.
Set duty for square waveforms or skew triangular waveforms to get saw waveforms.
Offset the phase of waveforms.
Sweep frequency or amplitude (Single, Repeat & Bounce modes).
Amplitude Modulation (AM).
Frequency Modulation (FM).
Burst mode for a specific number of waveforms (1-10000).
White noise & pink noise Generator. Pink (1/f) noise falls of at ~3dB per octave between 43 Hz and 44 kHz.
Memory slots to save & recall channel configuration.
Select values with spring slider or number pad.

5 ★ Perfect app. Meaning: It does exactly what it says it does, and it does it well. nothing more, nothing less. *doesn't nag to rate/buy. *doesn't bombard you with ads -in fact there are no ads at all. *Simple to understand/learn/use. *Has all functions necessary to do what it's meant to do. *no glitches/freezes/shut-downs. There is no other android ap I've used which i could truthfully say such of. Thank you developers - Great job!
4 ★ The app is great for something Free with no AD's. Interface is a little difficult to use but works great. Only thing that I don't like is that it doesn't support a higher sample rate than standard 44.1 Khz since many phones actually do. A higher sample rate would increase high frequency resolution, reduce distortion, and harmonics been chopped at the end of the frequency spectrum.
5 ★ Hands down the best freq generator! Take the time to learn what this dual channel frequency generator can do! Lots of options and tuning controls plus huge freq range means your in total control! I love it! So addicting too! I only wish I could save in mp3 format. Would be nice to add to music files and or share. Absolutely no limitations except what your phone or tablet can handle. You can tell this was a labor of love and not some quick project thrown together for the ads!
5 ★ Works great. Haven't really found a situation where it hasn't been useful. Great in situations that I can't lug the bench unit out to the machine.
5 ★ in my opinion this is the best function generator on the Play Store. all the commonly required functionality is available. i have inly one request: to be able to lock the frequency/amplitude to be the same for both the Left and Right channel. this way when using the generator differentially you could change frequency for example only once unstead of having to do it for both channels.
5 ★ ok very nice. yours is the Best... a few ideas for future nows a ponder maybe a paid version w/the ability to add: 'runs in background' and support for 'split screen' ANT BT With add ons like fm transmitter app that can pay to learn to emit a signal for your house, and how secure you can make it relies on cloud. and maybe browser based casting of the audio too. is there a smart tv version yet?
5 ★ Really good app, well thought out and easy to use. Only minor glitch is that when in burst repeat mode, adjustment of the burst rate doesn't seem to change smoothly while using the spring slider. E.g. count = 1, freq = 2kHz, burst rate = 10Hz and I want to increase it to 20Hz so I pull the slider to the right. The rate increases greatly until the slider is released then it settles back at the target rate.
4 ★ Like how you can simultaneously use 2 different signal frequencies at the same time. Great for checking stereo speaker bias & balance. A real powerful app tool once you put time in experimenting by use of it. Makes killer dual siren frequencies just as good, if not better, than real sirens in the hood! Exceptional app, my congrats to the DEV on this tone generator!
5 ★ Super useful for things like tuning, testing a car stereo, or even finding the perfect frequency to blow dust out of your phone's speakers!
