App permissions

GrooVe IP Pro (Ad Free) 4.1 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows an application to modify global audio settings.

Allows an application to read or write the system settings.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

Allows an application to write the user's contacts data.

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.

Allows an application to broadcast sticky intents.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

1 ★ I swear at one time this service offered free domestic calls. Why wouldn't someone just use hangouts and make free calls over this.

1 ★ This app has never worked for more than 2 minutes. I reinstalled and it worked for 3 minutes. Now it allowes number to be dialed....goes to the screen that it says the number is ringing.........it is not ringing

1 ★ Update 8/03/17, This app was good a couple years ago, I have not used it in ages since all the credits scam. FACEBOOK MESSENGER is far superior. This used to be a great app. Purchased Pro version awhile back. Went through the changes with Google voice, then had to go through ring for text because GV didn't support text. Ring was a battery drainer. Now hooray we got texting back, but wait, there is a catch, credits! Buy em or sit through video ads, more data usage. Very disappointing. That's why I didn't use GV+ & Mobi

3 ★ All been working ok till my phone updated to android 7. It's a Samsung galaxy S7. After macking or receiving calls. Any sound from the phone is very low. And the sound controls are ineffective. I have to restart the phone, to get volume control back.

1 ★ Bought Pro version and they cut me off and took all my remaining credits since I didn't use it enough.

5 ★ I've been using this since it was created. I told my wife I'd activate my cellphone when she weighed less than me. So 1/2 dozen years later, I'm still using Groove IP and the last middle aged adult without having owned an activated cellphone. Thanks Groove IP, for helping me stick to my condition.

1 ★ I was an early supporter in this app and paid $5for pro, now this nonsense with credits. Bulshit I'll find another app

2 ★ CANT EVEN MAKE A SINGLE CALL, DIGUSTING !!! IT KEEPS ON RINGING BUT DOES NOET CONNECT THE CALL Option should be given to purchase credits by debit card and google wallet account and google play as it will increase the revenue generation for the app developer , it is disappointing to see that there is just one option for users to purchase credits via pay pal , more options to purchase credits should be given

4 ★ Now ive just watched my first video to earn credit after taking almost forever. I wont be hasty to judge nor conclude. Let me give the app some time before going into a final conclusion.
