This app can be used to track your location by using the devices' built in GPS sensor. You can start tracking from wherever you are pause it, resume it, stop it, whatever you like to do during your trip.
While tracking you can close the app and do other things with your phone, the app still records location movements and once you finished with all of the other activities the route that you took will be displayed on the map.
Features:

• ability to save your routes
• ability to share route informations on social network sites like (Facebook and Twitter), and also via email
NOTE: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically consume battery.
App permissions
Route Tracker Plus 1.0 APK requires following permissions:
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.
Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to read the sync stats.
Allows applications to read the sync settings.
Allows applications to write the sync settings.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

5 ★ This is very useful app. I daily keep track of my journey and it shows perfect data analysis. Good to have this kind of app in my phone.
1 ★ This app has a VERY long list of permissions. There seem to be many more than is admitted to when installing the app. Can't see why it needs these, it makes the app look suspicious.
