2 ★ App used to be great and reliable. Unfortunately, recently, I've noticed it freezes and crashes a lot more than it used to. Downgraded review due to app stability not being perfect. Get it together YouTube. Downgrade due to when returning to App will select the wrong channel and display a black screen. Have to close and reopen app just to get it to work properly again. The problem did not use to occur.

3 ★ At first, everything was great, but recently, there have been problems with live streaming. The audio and visual are not syncing, and it seems like every show is lagging and skipping while I'm trying to watch. I know it's not my system because my other streaming platforms are not doing this. Plus, I watched several movies on the premium networks that I purchased with my plan and they stream fine. I am at the point of wanting to get a refund, rebate, or discounted service for the inconveniences.

2 ★ When I open the app, it takes me the channel selection, but all of the screens are black. From there, I click the channel I want to watch, and it pulls up a different channel. I then need to force close the app and reopen it for it to work properly. Additionally, when I want to close the app, it doesn't actually close it until I swipe up on the app selection screen. The quality of the video is also poor sometimes. For $85 a month, I would expect a much smoother experience.

2 ★ I've had YouTube TV for years and love it. Well, two days ago, my app stopped working. Customer service can't figure it out, but it's a big problem. When I tap on a channel, my app shuts off, and nothing is cast to my TV. We've tried almost everything. I hope their tech dept can fix this, or I'll be forced to stream with Xfinity, and I HATE Comcast

1 ★ Lots of issues. Trying to watch sports, especially the last 2 minutes of games, it keeps asking to unlock by verifying location. You're at home, you haven't even moved to a different room, and yet it'll ask you over and over and over, even after you've verified over and over and over. It's an extremely aggravating and difficult app to use. You'd think Google, with all of it's big bad power and ability, could put something better together. Also, zero customer service. Zero.

3 ★ Let me first say I enjoy YouTube TV, but not this app. I don't like the guide only shows you what's on now and not give me the option to see what is coming on later, so I can choose items to record. I also wish the app gave a description of the program. The mini player freezes sometimes when I go to other apps. The option to continue watching on another device would also be helpful. Overall not the worst app streaming app but definitely needs some improvement.

1 ★ Not free as some ads state. It's free to try. Extremely short trial. Very high prices for the service. As others note, even at those prices they show you ads. Many other apps/services exist that offer the same shows/service with no ads if you pay or minimal ads for unlimited free use. This app and service are just way overpriced and/or unreasonable.

1 ★ The User Interface is confusing and convoluted. The app promotes recording shows. Which is fine but then they show advertisements that are unskippable. For 73 dollars they will not hesitate to advertise to you. When playing on a console it will ask to verify location on your phone. Because it's not enough to pay. You have to give up your private location to enjoy the service. To add or drop channels you can only do it via desktop. Trash app for the price.

1 ★ This app is so strange. It cost 73 (per month, mind you) dollars to get all the channels, yet the movies have ads! Not only do you get ads while you're watching the movies, but you also get ads from Google at the beginning of every single movie. Who's idea 💡 this was? This app is (and I can't emphasize this enough) terrible, and they're basically getting free money from the people while providing a beyond mediocre service that I've ever seen from Google. I'm shocked

1 ★ Pretty pathetic app overall poor display of live schedule with titles and descriptions that are too big for phone screens and the schedule also doesn't update unless your force stop the app. It also disconnects from Chromecast, even with battery optimization off, so that I can't rewind or fast forward without stopping the app. I will never understand how any of these streaming apps see Netflix and don't copy almost everything it does.

1 ★ DVR capability of YouTube TV is so severely broken that the service/app is really only useful for live viewing. More than 50% of recordings are missed. Sometime recordings begin in the middle of broadcast. Listing of recordings is a mix of old and future dates in non-chronological order. My suspicion is that a lot of problems are caused by recording programs that have the same name but different content - for example, "Live Tennis Today." No excuse, though.

2 ★ Youtube TV works fine through my PS4.. and up until 2 months ago, the app worked perfectly well on my android phone.. BUT.. now the app on my phone.. EVERY time I open it up, there's some kind of glitch and I get a black screen, no matter what movie/show I click on.. volume works fine, but the screen is black. I literally have to turn my phone off and on again in order to watch anything- EVERY TIME I want to use it now.. Which is way inconvenient, and makes me wanna stream other services..

5 ★ So far so good, after nearly two years of being a subscriber....I am/we are, rather cavemanish to this technology. I still have initial problems, that I know are bound to be easily corrected, but there is no manual that takes me down a very easy and transparent path. There's probably so many features that we've had access to all along, and simply aren't aware of, because websites and links, and emails and passwords, we try to avoid like the plague! One problem we have, it changes & we don't w

1 ★ Most likely will cancel YouTubeTV. It's to expensive to have so many ads that are not skippable. I absolutely refuse to watch ads, so I'll just subscribe to the services that I watch shows on instead. It's a shame because we've been subscribers since the beginning. Food Network is the WORST. Absolutely will not watch anything on demand due to the sheer volume of ads that you can't skip.

2 ★ 2 things: Was watching the Cleveland Browns vs Jax Jaguars today, with 3 minutes left of the game it automatically went to the broncos vs chargers, even though that game was already on another channel. The 2nd complaint, aside from so many commercials, is the fact that if you pause whatever you're watching for too long, the app automatically closes and goes to the Home screen of your TV. That is SUPER annoying and gives regular cable the advantage for that. Both of these are pretty ridiculous
