2 ★ Okay to view your maps that you have made but very little you can edit. Much more functionality on the desktop version. Missing a few features such as adding points from coordinates and changing the colour of pins. I have to use the desktop version on a PC or Puffin browser for very basic tasks that could be added to the app. I really like my maps and have used it for years to mark out foraging spots around my village and metal detecting finds, but for me it's just missing a few features.
2 ★ 1st - Keeps crashing to a point of ubusability, need a little love from support. 2nd - Great concept but I wish it was more precise, if I'm on wifi couldn't it be precise enough for me to leave different notes closer together in crowded places / work
1 ★ Missing the main key feature! Surely the whole point of plotting a route is to navigate it but My Maps doesn't have the option to actually do this - despite Google clearly having brilliant Nav technology. Come on Google this could be brilliant and instead it's a royal faff.
1 ★ This app needs a lot of work you can't just regularly draw lines like a pencil instead you're having to tap the plus button to create lines that are rigid and not so curvy. Considering that there are phones and tablets with stlyuses that would do very well with placing location markers and drawing lines.
3 ★ It will make more sense that when more info is clicked on a place, it takes you to the same page as you would see on the normal Google maps. This would be life changing.
1 ★ Useless. Absolutely unintuitive UI. It is impossible to move point between layers. After selecting and edit point no way to return to points list other than open map again.
3 ★ Would be much better if it could be integrated into Google Maps. It really makes no sense that you can't, made by the same company and all, seems like it would be a simple concept
5 ★ One of my favorite travel apps. I use this extensively to plan trips, both for my family and others. It's truly an exceptional app and while a bit clunky, it use of customizable icons and layers is extremely useful. I always recommend it. Suggestions I would make are: being able to duplicate maps easier in the app, integration with Google Maps, and being able to copy layers and places to add to another map.
1 ★ Initially, it was good but unfortunately now it just keeps stopping. Have uninstalled and reinstalled but still no luck - about to give up on it. Disappointed
5 ★ I use Google maps to go everywhere. I never know where I'm going without it.it is so much easier than trying to map out a destination just put in the address that you want to go to and you have a lovely guide and a real-time road map to point the way. The only problem I've ever had with the app is sometimes my destination will be on the wrong side of the road according to the instructions.
2 ★ Can't add directions on Android. I just want to plan a road trip. Not too much to ask surely? So why is it so difficult to save a multi-stop multi-day route? I would have thought this functionality could easily be integrated into Google Maps without the need for a wholly seperate app that doesn't work on Android anyway!
3 ★ So basically this app is useful only if you wish to review your maps without Internet connection. All other features are being updated in proper Google Maps app and work better there. Kinda pointless.
1 ★ Why it seems to miss out some really important features is a mystery. You can't change the colour of points, but if it's done for an entire layer already, it changes. Randomly defaults to a location of the first point of the map I added every time I minimise it. App feels like a complete afterthought.
4 ★ It's a great app just one problem last time I used the app to travel when I was trying to make a route I could take if I wanted to drag the route to the right I would have to move my finger to the left can you make it so you maybe can tap the next location instead of dragging it. Thanks
5 ★ Well it works as I need it too. Very easy to draw lines and view maps. However, there isn't very much customization. Can't change line style or color. Also, it is in google's old UI so it just needs an update overall.
