App permissions

Roav Charger 1.3.10 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an application to modify the current configuration, such as locale.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.

5 ★ Easy to use, easy to connect, sound quality is great, and the fact that it also remembers where you parked and monitors your car battery are nice additions as well. Anker has yet to put out something that is a POS that I've had.

2 ★ Got buggy. Won't pair with 2 devices. I bought one and loved it. Bought a second for the ambulance and it gets buggy whenever I get two devices connected and then one will disconnect and I can't get the second one to reconnect. App used to be good. It's terrible now.

3 ★ It works but does too much imo. I got this on sale and just wanted to set the color to match my interior. This app does that just fine but will not install withouth giving it permission to access your stuff, too much stuff imo. It also tracks every where you go and will let you know where you parked. I don't need that yet LoL. Uninstalled...

2 ★ The functions exist as intended, but the app is very annoying. It has a persistent push notification that cannot be closed, and asks for permissions every time you open it. Downloaded it to go with my device but quickly became irritated by it, so I uninstalled.

5 ★ Works as advertised and the ability to change the colors on the actual device makes it fun for my kids via bluetooth, the battery monitor and it helps you locate vehicle in large or unknown parking lots

2 ★ The actual device works great. FIX THE APP. The app need to be fixed where it shuts off AUTOMATICALLY. I just force stop it. PITA. Everyone is using it for the FM feature not a battery draining car parking feature.

5 ★ Works better than those twice as expensive. There is absolutely no static and the phone calls are super clear as well. The app. Is well constructed and the find your car feature helps at the mall of America or oakwood mall on EC Wisconsin

1 ★ Not sure what the purpose of the app is for. My bluetooth on my phone works woth theRoav charger just as well. I gave it 1 star because, as far ae I can tell, the app only takes up space. Change my mind.

5 ★ Excellent bluetooth FM transmitter. You download an app that's free to use the charger. The Roav charger app does the rest. Two small issues though. The Roav app is running all the time and whatever FM channel you use,it is impossible for the Roav device to clean up the FM signal. That's just not in the Roav devices capabilities. So,if you get radio static,find another FM channel. But its very clear ,easy to use and high quality. I'm glad I spent the extra money for a great product.

1 ★ The device itself is great. The app never turns off though so it constantly drains your battery. The car finder is cool and all, but shouldn't be on unless I turn it on. I shouldn't have a notification on where my car is when it's in my driveway. I know it's in the driveway. You definitely need to fix this app. Wish I could use the device without the app, because the device got a 5* rating from me.

3 ★ Why do I get "cannot connect to roav" every 60 seconds. Boy thats annoying. Sound in car needs turned WAY up to hear my music. Haven't had long enough to rate further.

5 ★ Connecting to it was really easy, the ability to check when and where I parked is really easy, it made the sad feeling of not owning a bluetooth radio amazing. 😅

2 ★ App is absolutely too invasive and the screeching sound of feedback/alternator whine is less than desirable. In need of adjustments on ROAV end

5 ★ Love it, great item and the app is awesome. The car locator is a game changer. Highly recommend.

5 ★ Love the qi! Sturdy and well made, had it for over a year. I can mostly remember where my car is, but bluetooth locator is nice.
