App permissions

THCrossword 2.4 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

3 ★ I am a major fan of the Hindu crossword and so this app is a welcome relief. Need some improvements to be made on the entry of answers as well as on the stability front. Crashes at times. Haven't had any grid translation issues for the past month but this used to be a problem as well. Also might help to store old crosswords separately and have only the past seven days of crosswords show up on the home screen. If you can fix these this is a killer app.

4 ★ Could do with improvements. After latest updates cant see grid while editing on samsung p3100 tab..correction...can see only in landscape mode. Not many other choices out there at the moment fr hindu crossword fans

2 ★ This is something I have been looking for. But the app has many problems on my device, the worst of which is that I can't type some keys from the keyboard in the edit view. I can't even see letters 'p' or 'q'. So, I can only shelve this for the time being at least. Anyway, it's a great concept but has a really loooong way to go before it can be used by most. I do hope I will see the improvements soon enough. Oh, my device is an HTC Desire S btw.

4 ★ No longer fight with my husband for the newspaper. Feels odd when entering the soutions without seeing the grid. Wd give 5 stars if this is solved and solutions can also be viewed.

1 ★ When it DID work it WAS lovely. Now, however, something has thrown a spanner in the works and the blasted thing continually returns "Puzzle does not exist or Internet unavailable" It's jolly frustrating for an old chap who loves his Cryptic challenge.

3 ★ Does its job most of the time. But whenever a clue has multiple segments (answer present over different regions), the grid renders incorrectly and app crashes. Please fix.

4 ★ Cool app. Two issues though. If there is a clue which has a solution in two separate places then the app crashes. Also sometimes the crossword is not available

1 ★ Installed this in Jan 2015. All I see is a blank Welcome screen. Wondering if this app is still active.

2 ★ The puzzle downloads ok but the grid is all wrong. I wonder if its a problem with my Tab2. Anybody?

3 ★ I'm using this app in MIUI it shows problem in downloading latest crossword and not downloading solution so far

1 ★ The app crashes frequently and most of the puzzles do not open. Get an error message saying no Internet or puzzle does not exist. Very frustrating
