Description
Completely Wi-Fi enabled and wireless, Bayit Sense requires no HUB and no monthly fees, so you can keep track of who’s going in and out of your home, protect your valuables, and keep control of your appliances.
Want to know when the kids got home? Are the kids going somewhere without permission? Is something out of place? Bayit Sense will provide peace of mind using push notifications sent directly to your mobile device. Featuring a modular system that can notify different alerts from multiple sensors, so you can be aware of exactly what’s going on all the time, all from the comfort of your mobile device.
Wi-Fi Door/Window Sensor -Detect every time a door or window is open or closed.
Vibration Sensor – Detects vibration, ideal for placing on a window to alert if someone is trying to break in, or place it in a drawer with your valuables and be alerted anytime its opened or closed.
Wi-Fi Socket – Turn your wall AC or Space heater on when you’re on the way home, turn on a lamp when you’re on vacation, or just put them on a schedule. Featuring a built in siren that will sound anytime one of your sensors are triggered.
Sensors use 2 AAA batteries that last 1 year (included) and will alert you when batteries are running low.
DIY setup in under 60 seconds.

Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows formatting file systems for removable storage.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows mounting and unmounting file systems for removable storage.
Allows an application to read the low-level system log files.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows an application to broadcast sticky intents.
Allows an application to read or write the system settings.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.
This constant was deprecated in API level 8. The restartPackage(String] API is no longer supported.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to call killBackgroundProcesses(String].
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.

4 ★ Not bad, I have two magnetic sensors. They work well after a long process of set up as others have stated. The concept of the device is very cool and you don't need a hub to operate it. I'm hoping whoever this company is will continue to put time and effort into the devices and read these reviews for productive feedback. If they shined up the software more and added more features I would buy ten more. I've done research, there is little competition out there on a small device like this, fix the issues and we can all benefit from it.

1 ★ Totally useless. You can spend hours trying to register a device, but to no avail! It just does not communicate with devices. It also has a very unfriendly user interface. My recommendation: do not buy these products, you will just have to take them back to the shop for a refund next day.
1 ★ Great idea, but the Power Switch timers do not work at all: I've tried DST on and off, I even switch my device clock to use military time (00:00) to match the app, to no avail... app is also quit slow in responding to inputs as if it was a very slow Web app, or debug code. ...only think that works is manually switching it on and off, but that is very limiting. If they ever fix the problem, it would be nice if they add Tasker and IFTTT integration... then it would be a very interesting product. Anyway basic advertised functionality need to be fixed first... for now it's just a broken product.
