1 ★ Terribly fustrating. On tablet or mobile phone is fine but streaming to Android TV is horrid. Breaks up way too much. My mom said I should I return the Android set top just because she cannot get it to come in right ... But YouTube is just fine, even streamed from my phone. Heck, QVC UK streamed without issue mirroring from my phone to tv. Get it together mates
1 ★ Haha! This app is pathetic. Where does all that TV licence money go? Crash when loading, crash after first ad finishes, crashes when second ad starts, etc etc. Latest Android installed, no other issues with streaming apps etc. Why is there ads on state funded, tax payer, licence fee paying public? Two thirty second adverts?
2 ★ The extra star is for adding cromecast and a little improvement in streams, but it won't let me watch more then half of the things on here, rté please get this fixed, this is when I say the old version was better.
1 ★ Horrible,. Just want to see the news and the player and all I get is a black screen. I've had this problem for months now. This is the absolute worst app I have ever had the misfortune to use I would give it no stars if that was possible
5 ★ I have found that how well charged your device is, will have an effect on the streaming quality.In other words, a device low on power, will not work as well as one that is at or near 100% charged. Not sure this will be true for everyone on every sort of device, but worth keeping in mind as a possible solution to streaming problems. I give a 5 stars for how nice the app is in general.
2 ★ Chromecast feature rarely works. Ads run in broken state, stuttering and starting meaning that a 30 second as can go on for minutes
1 ★ Terrible experience. Can't play videos without randomly stopping. Are these the same devs who wrote the iowa election app? I would start from scratch and just focus on quality over features.
2 ★ Good to be able to catch up on a missed show but the app keeps crashing during the commericals.
1 ★ crashes on startup, unusable. Clearing the data and cache and rebooting the app didnt help.
1 ★ Every time I moved from this app to another one and back I was shown two lengthy ads. Shockingly bad experience. Uninstalled it after 10min
2 ★ Scrolling on the home page is broken. Streaming keeps pausing and buffering - maybe because I'm outside Ireland?

1 ★ As international user this is one of the worst apps there is. It is also not available on roku in the US. RTE should spend less on overpaid presenters and more on accesibility to content
