Description
Cisana TV guide UK includes listings of all Britain's Freeview and Sky channels and main Irish TV channels.
For programs currently on air, a bar is shown that visually indicates how long the broadcast has started and how long it is until the end of the broadcast. You have a handy timeline for an overview of the schedules and sections where only movies, sports programs and cartoons are listed. You can set your favourite channels in order to make the consultation faster.
The plots of the programs, often with cast, rating, posters and images, will help you choose the program to watch. Cisana TV + offers you the possibility to insert a reminder for the start of a program that you want to see on the calendar of your smartphone or set a notification. Thanks to the connection with external websites you can learn more about the programs that interest you. Of course, you can share a broadcast profile with your friends that they might like too.
In a fraction of a second, it searches the titles and the description of the programs for all the weekly programming. Want to know when a match will air? When will the rerun of a TV series air? Now it's that simple!
CisanaTV + for a possible view of the streaming programs, if available, refer to the website or the official app of the individual television broadcasters.
Note: on some phone models notifications may not work, it does not depend on the app but on restrictions in the execution of apps in the background imposed by the smartphone software. In this case, we suggest trying to set the app so that it is not subject to energy savings and that it can start in the background. If the problem is not solved, all that remains is to set the reminders through the calendar.

2 ★ The actual format of this app is very good, particularly the timeline feature where you can see the entire evening schedule for every channel on one screen. However, it is unreliable as there are many times when you select the timeline and get nothing but a blank screen which is very annoying. For this reason it gets 2 stars, I would have given it 4 or 5 stars. Fix it Mr Cisana or I will be uninstalling.
4 ★ *Update- after upgrading to Android 11 this app is now very jumpy when scrolling and stalls sometimes. No issues with other apps, just this one. Good app works well and is clear and functional. A future feature with integration with Smart Things and other control apps to directly change channel from the listing would be great.
5 ★ Easy to use, and usually gives better information than the in-built programme guide of any TV set. One improvement I would like to see is to be able to set the default menu item. For example, every time I go into it I have to switch from what's showing now to the schedules for individual channels.
5 ★ Great app. I like the features such as the timeline, channels and being able to see all the films for the day. I like the original poster art when you tap on the film description. I've had no problems using this so far.
