Easy Run provides an 8-week starter guide to get everyday people into running routines. Using a combination of running and walking on the daily bases, the app gets the user more fit for running over time. Each day the time of running increases while the time of walking decrease. Features such as audio messages, and lists have been added to better prepare the user for the day's exercise. After using this app, and following the 8-week guide anyone will be able to run on a daily bases.

This app is designed to help everyday people become comfortable with running.This application is aimed to help people who aren't pro-runners, become pro-runners. Easy Run uses an 8-week running guide that can get anybody running withing a matter of 2 months. The app combines different amounts of running and walking in the same daily activity. Each day the running amount slowly increase while the waling time decreases. This is a smooth transition from walking to running. Additionally, times for how long to do each activity are provided to insure that the user is able to follow what they are doing and for how long. The description also explains how many reps to do each activity. In this guide there are a few rest days that will allow the user to replenish and relax. A list all the daily activities are provided in the home screen of the app. This allows the user to prepare themselves for the following day's activity. To insure the physical health of the user, each day before starting the activity the app uses and audio message within the app to remind the user to stretch and stay hydrated. It is important that the user stretches so that they can reach their full running potential, as well as prevent themselves from pulling any muscles during the exercise. After the exercise the user is remind to get water to stay hydrated and replenish their body.
