This is an application in order to help pupils to understand relationships between digits and their place value for decimal numbers. This material is a useful activity in order to help students to improve place value skills. Place value is one of the trickiest math skills, and also one of the most important . In this app we play with place value models for decimal numbers up to 6.99. Here the student will see a place value model and will try to find the corresponding number. After the student will write the number in the appropriate field. If the number is right, the funny figure answers "Fantastic!Bravo!" and then it laughs. If the number is wrong, then it answers "Error!Retry" and the funny figure gets angry. Then the game reshapes the total picture and a new (random choice) place value model appears and a new question is waiting for answer. In total the student must answer 10 questions throught this procedure.Every right answer takes 1 point, every wrong answer takes 0 points. When the whole procedure is completed, the funny figure announces the grade, for example: grade(0-10)/10. We have random choice of place value models and so many possible numbers (0-6.99) for practising. Finally, we point out that it is an educational game, that students gain points and learn by having fun , a useful teaching resource for teachers in grade 5 and 6 in primary school and also a learning tool for parents in helping their children with daily homework.
