"The Battle of Rezang La" stands out as a testimony to the spirit
and patriotism of Indian Army.
13 Kumaon Regiment deployed at Rezang La
received orders to fight till ‘THE LAST MAN AND LAST ROUND’
to inflict maximum possible casualties on the invading army.
SURRENDER WAS NOT AN OPTION.
114 soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice and killed 1300 invading soldiers.
When the bodies were retrieved after the war, The soldiers were still found in their trenches with their weapons tightly gripped in their hand.
