This new application from Car Status Check allows you to perform a FULL car history check simply by entering the vehicle’s registration number! Unlike some other services, Car Status Check also performs a full outstanding finance check with all major lenders and delivers the report direct to your handset! An in-app vehicle history report costs just £7.99.

Incredibly, 1 in 4 cars* checked has a loan or other financial interest that must be cleared before it can be legally sold. If you purchase a car with finance outstanding you are at serious risk of having your car seized, regardless of the fact the loan is from the previous owner.

You can download our app free of charge and perform a basic vehicle check for free. This check includes:
- Make
- Model
- Engine size
- Fuel type
- Year of manufacture
- Colour

Once happy with the basic report you can purchase the full report. Standard price is £7.99. This report provides you with all the vital information you need when buying or selling a vehicle. This report will tell you if the vehicle:
- has outstanding finance
- has been recorded by the police as stolen
- has been declared an insurance write off
- has been written off by an insurer after being stolen and not recovered
- is at risk of being sold illegally (on the security watch register)
- has been inspected following insurance damage
- has had a plate transfer
