Al Asma Ul Husna 99 Names of ALLAH (SWT)

لَهُ الْأَسْمَاء الْحُسْنَى - "The most beautiful names belong to Him (Allah)." ( Surah Al-Hashr, verse 24). Asma, the plural for "name" and Husna, meaning "most beautiful".

Surat Taha 20:8

Narrated Abu Huraira: Prophet Muhammad SAW said, “Allah has ninety-nine names, i.e. one-hundred minus one, and whoever knows them will go to Paradise.”
Sahih Al-Bukhari – Book 50 Hadith 894

Abu Huraira reported Prophet Muhammad SAW as saying: Verily, there are ninety-nine names for Allah, i.e. hundred excepting one. He who enumerates them would get into Paradise. And Hammam has made this addition on the authority of Abu Huraira who reported it from Prophet Muhammad SAW that he said: “He is Odd (one) and loves odd number.”
Sahih Muslim – Book 35 Hadith 6476

Importance of Asma Ul Husna:
Allah Almighty is the Creator of this world and everything in it. It is important to know the Asmaul Husna and attributes of Allah Almighty. Knowing Allah makes a person love and fear Him, and put his hope in Him, and be sincere towards Him in his actions. There is no way to know Allah except by knowing His Most Beautiful Names and seeking a proper understanding of their meanings.

When a person involves himself with learning about Allah Almighty, he is doing what he was created for, but if he ignores the matter, he is neglecting what he was created for. We as a Muslim should make the effort to learn about Allah through His beautiful Names and Attributes. The more we learn about our Lord, the more we increase in faith on Allah Almighty.

We as a Muslims believe that the Asmaul Husna have so many benefits for us. Muslims recite Allah’s names daily in their Salah for the protection, good health, comfort, wealth etc.
