The Bremerton Elks organization has been a part of Bremerton since 1910. Here at the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks #1181(aka Best People On Earth at the Best Place On Earth) we proudly serve the community in several ways;
Grants for Community Projects, Sponsoring Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, Scholarships for local High School Students, Fully funded Therapy Program for Special needs Children that employees over 13 therapists that serve 25 to 30 families each in a one month period, Annual Car show that showcases over 250 vehicles, Food Booth at the County Fair, Events for all major holidays (especially our "free to the public" Easter Egg Hunt that features over 5000 eggs and several "golden eggs" that get turned in at the end of the day for a special prize basket.) We take great pride in supporting our local Veterans, First Responders and Outstanding Citizens. We have a saying in Elkdom, "If there is a veteran, the Elks will never forget". We sponsor the Veteran's Retsil home in Port Orchard. We treat them to bingo once a month and escort them to the rodeo during the fair week. We provide bingo open to the public. We have live entertainment(Bands and DJs) each weekend for our Members and their Guests to enjoy as they enjoy dancing on one of the largest dance floors in the Kitsap County Area. Our Lodge members, families and guests enjoy a jam-packed calender of events every month. Some of these events include Saturday Hamburgers on the Patio, Elk Races, Texas Hold-em tournaments, day time Tea Dances, Lodge Meetings on Thursday Nights and Dinners provided by our volunteer kitchen. Come in, relax, enjoy the view & hospitality and be a part of Bremerton Elkdom.
