Sobermap idea came about by the founder due to the challenges faced while on travel --- difficulty in finding meetings, multiple sites with conflicting information and no ability to truly map out a way to get there. Being on the road and going meetings is a healthy practice, it adds to the excitement of the journey and the beauty of helping others. But, it not only works well on the road, it works well for local meetings in your local community and it is an easy tool to provide newcomers as a way to get to meetings. Sobermap is a FREE app that provides the recovery community throughout the Florida ( March 2017) US ( September 2017) and the World ( est. 2018) to find the type of local meetings you feel comfortable with whether is a men meeting, women meeting, LBGT, Big Book etc..
