Afghanistan Center for Engineering Research and Development (ACERD) is a leading independent Afghan professional society organization based in Kabul, Afghanistan. ACERD is committed to contribute to the production and dissemination of rigorous evidence –based research initiatives which provide practical solutions to key technical problems in the country engineering industry and academia as well as responsive to the national emerging socio-economic development needs.
ACERD’s mission is to stay a pioneer in the field of engineering by setting high standards in tackling modern research and development challenges as well as maintaining active engagement with relevant partner organizations by sharing and dissemination of knowledge, and expertise. ACERD is run by a team of senior professorial leads including prominent university professors, researchers and experts from industry who are dedicated to offer state-of-the-art solutions and services in the field of engineering. Furthermore ACERD is actively engaged in offering training programs including conferences, workshops, and lectures, that are responsive to national and regional development needs.
