The 3 most basic types of series parallel circuits are covered in this tutorial. Circuit 1 is the simplest with R1 in series with a parallel R2 and R3. Circuit 2 has a parallel branch with a series connection of resistors R3 and R4. Circuit 3 has a series R1 followed by 3 resistors in parallel.
If you master these 3, you should be able to handle any single source dc series parallel type circuits. The purpose of tutorials is to guide you through each calculation step. You will only learn material if you perform all the calculations yourself at each step to verify app calculations.
