This app is a companion to the book - Black Belt Recorder Student Book One, CD and Belts. To go book-less see the mobile versions of these apps.
Black Belt Recorder is one of the most popular recorder learning methods in the world. It’s now here on PC, Mac, iPad/iPhone/iPod and Android. Install on other devices by installing SongTorch from www.ijamed.com. Switch between devices quickly and easily.
This is a fully interactive and exciting way to learn to play the descant or soprano recorder. A new note, new rhythms, symbols, articulation, finger posture, breath control, time signature and even automatic TESTING are included.
If you are a BlackBeltRecorder, SongTorch, or IJAMEd website registered user the IJAMEd Cloud will track your progress, your awarded stars and your avatar. You teacher can also track your progress.
For registered users that have purchased the app on one of the sites above, you will automatically get full access to all these features on all of your devices:
* 3 songs as super slow scrolling versions.
* Graduate with 2 of the hilarious jokes and impersonations created so far by RECORDER MAN!
* All three test songs (read from your book). The app actually tests you and gives you a score. You teacher can track your results.
* Be guided through the learning process each step of the way by the Recorder Man animated character.
* Note D interactive activities.
* Breath control and articulation.
* Update your avatar.

Then go onto the Green Belt app.
To add even more fun you will be applauded went you get things right, sprinkled with confetti when your succeed, honored with fireworks when you win, visited by impersonated characters when you take too long, win stars when you achieved, and last but not least be GRADUATED by Recorder Man and his impersonations of famous characters.
