ShutApp is free and easy to use, timer app that helps you and your friends to take a break from your phone, and to enjoy the real moments.
“Sorry what did you say?” Everyone knows situations like this – missing real moments and don’t being part of the real world. Smartphones are awesome but sometimes you have to take a break from your phone and enjoy the real time with your friends and loved once. That’s why we developed ShutApp!
With ShutApp you can easily set goals and challenge your friends for how long you don’t want to use your phone. You can test yourself and your friends if you are able to stop checking your phone every minute.
So, how it works: Invite friends for the ShutApp challenge, set the time you DON’T want to use
your phone, mute your phone (if it's not already done) and the countdown will automatically start. If you use your phone before the time has expired the app will recognize it, the time will stop and your friends will receive a notification. That's normally the time when you have to admit that you are addicted!
