How often does the average teen hear about community service opportunities in day-to-day conversation? Not a whole lot. Voluntweer is a mobile app that increases awareness and makes the volunteer process a social experience. The app keeps users updated on the number of hours they have volunteered for and events near them that they will be interested in participating in. By suggesting new, local events users are further encouraged to give back to the community. With Voluntweer, going online to access a website or create an account is completely unnecessary, making event-finding and registering more convenient than ever.
