An app in 6 languages for getting to know the best-preserved town of the ancient world: Pompeii
An area of 164 acres (66 hectares), 109 (44) of which have been brought to light, is there for you to discover. A description divided into 6 trails will illustrate some of the reconstructions that 10 generations of architects have formulated in almost 280 years of research. Objects, paintings, inscriptions, documents, even people, who have been restored to us through the casts of their bodies which remained impressed in the lava at the very moment of their ill-fated flight from the eruption.
The app proposes:
6 themed trails plus another two with more detailed explanations and general introductions
Each trail presents a “Playlist” with the themed tour of the town
The “Find “function to search for the listening points which particularly interest you, both by word and by number of the listening point
The “Phototaking” function to take your snaps and share them on the social media
The “MyVisit” function with which you can create personalized trails, clicking on the “heart” icon of each listening point
The “Map” function which guides you all over the archaeological site
The “Games” function: coloring, puzzles and memory games to interact with the app
