אפליקציית מחשבון המינון של חיות הבר מחשבת את המינון של תרופות על בסיס מידה בין-ספציפית לאלומטרית, המחשבת ומבטאת מינון ככמות לאנרגיה הנצרכת על ידי חיה נתונה תחת חילוף חומרים בזאלי (mg / kcal). לכן ניתן להשתמש בקצב חילוף החומרים הבסיסי לחישוב המינונים בין שתי בעלי חיים.
