With “Learn German – The City of Words” the Goethe-Institut is issuing an online game for German learners at Level A1. This free game combines elements from hidden-object puzzles with both co-operative and competitive multi-player games where everyone learning German at beginners’ level can expand their vocabulary skills and compare themselves with others. Playfully presented language exercises transfer basic grammar structures of the German language. The playful approach of “Lern Deutsch – Die Stadt der Wörter” shows that learning German is not difficult at all. And it’s fun!
Update: Now with new “Unicampus” level
Game permissions

1 ★ Unscippable intro. You are forced to watch it all. Account creation is not working hence app is useless. Good job, retards.
1 ★ Signs me out every 1-2 minutes. I get to spend more time retyping my password than I do looking for lessons in the game.
1 ★ Too Bad, I've tried to log in with my Goethe ID, it says you don't have an ID need to register, and when trying to registere it says Goethe ID already exist, and even with Facebook it won't open any account, some huge bugs need to be fixed, without talking about connection lost from time to time
