1 ★ I've played the desktop version since it was created as a replacement for duels. Besides server speed and connection issues at times, it's good. I decided to try the app, and it's a POS. Way too massive for mobile for just a card card game, crashes constantly and takes forever to reload (if it does), and seems to amplify the existing issues with server connections. It's not clear to me why they would bother having an app this bad. Wizards should consider shelving it if they can't do better.

1 ★ The game keeps locking up in the middle of combat. So, one or both of us lose. I don't mind d a loss, but I hate that. the developers need to fix the app if they expect people to pay for cards (content). I keep playing the started pack competition to learn, my deck is a starter, and all the other players destroy me. It's not fun at all.

1 ★ Crash Crash Crash. I have a brand new phone from 2023 and the app crashes all the time. So much as to crash several times in one game. The shuffler is not like a real-life card draw and is manipulated by their software which the developers (who are just contracted out from another country currently) have admitted to happening, making it a huge issue. Scry doesn't even work correctly. Matchmaking isn't balanced. People troll by burning all of the time in all of the phases of their turns

1 ★ I keep losing signal to the server it says. Then the game will crash. Update while still using the game. Got a free loss on a draft I had to pay for because there server crashed. Then if a game goes on too long, big combos or loops. You both lose and no rewards are given. Just a big waste of time.

2 ★ Have to go through the app loading splash screen even if phone is off for 10 seconds. Keyboard on the search screen is tiny. Sometimes a match will freeze for a minute or more before showing a timeout fuse, especially at the start of a match. Why can't we see what's in bundles before we buy them? Game froze up on me this morning. By the time I realized and was able to close and reopen it, opponent was on fourth turn and I was at half health.

2 ★ I love magic so this is dissappointing but, In all honesty this is one of the worst ports of a game to mobile I've seen from a popular game, freezes, crashes, server disconnects, awful framerate drops and some combos are guaranteed to break the app. Not to mention when you do get disconnected there is a healthy chance you won't be able to reboot the game without completely force stopping the app in your settings. If you have a choice stick to the desktop.

3 ★ Most of the time the game is great. A very well done UI. The tutorials also helps anyone who hasn't played magic before learn the game. HOWEVER! The phone app will crash randomly when matches are starting, forcing you to fully close the app and relaunch. It will also crash when too many of the overly fancy effects try to happen when some cards are played, again forcing a full app restart. This can cause you to "time out" during the match, or even lose your turn. Allow users to turn off effects.

3 ★ I'm experiencing a lot of crashing issues while playing. The crashes occur seemingly without pattern. I have just started playing on my mobile device, and the actual game play itself is amazing. But with the app frequently grinding to a halt, it's difficult to make any progress. I hope the bugs get sorted out soon because in just the sort time I've played, my understanding and strategy of the game itself has drastically improved.

3 ★ You get to play Magic, sure. The game crashes during matches constantly, if you're opponent wants to they can refuse to take their turn and waste several minutes with the only option to get out is forfeit which counts as a loss to you. If the game crashes after winning a match, it won't count it or your progress on dailies. Overall it is a good way to pass the time but on mobile, it's too unpredictable to stay on the server.

2 ★ So much of the app is really good, and it's great to play the game digitally and mostly for free. Unfortunately, it crashes a lot, leaving you scrambling to force close/reopen before missing your turn in a match. It happens multiple times an hour; I expect a crash in each match. Additionally, the store interface is subpar. You can't actually look at any of the items, or even the contents of a bundle. An example is the starter pack, a one time purchase that includes an unspecified amount of gems.

3 ★ I've been playing for about 2-3 months now, and I can easily say they need to fix the crashes. We get these updates for new cards and events, but not the crash issue thats been ongoing for many months based on the reviews. Other than that, the game-play is great. Idk if anyone else has this issue but some ranked games I go from playing people in the same caliber, to playing someone who's 2 ranks above or more. I get that as I progress I'll come across more difficult people but the jump is crazy.

1 ★ This app crashes constantly. On startup, mid game, loading the shop, everywhere, and seemingly for no reason. I have lost games due to the crashes, as I've come back to several turns later with my opponent so far ahead I can't possible catch up. I have a brand new phone, top of Samsung's offerings, so I know it's not my phone. Seems like something they continuously sweep under the rug, too, for as many updates they've gone through since I downloaded it. Easily the worst app I've used. 0/5.

1 ★ Game now crashes repeatedly on my Samsung s23 ultra. Also, when I cast cards that say "target player draws a card..." I have to click myself multiple times before it selects me. The game is fun, but when I have to restart multiple times per match or miss turns it gets annoying very fast. Update: When the game crashed before, the animations stopped working and you couldn't interact either any cards. Now, both of those work when the game crashes so you don't even know it. Makes it unplayable.

1 ★ (Edit 11/26/23) It is still horrid and awful to play on this app. Crashes on crashes on crashes. Not worth your time. I love this game. Magic is so fun and being able to play it easily is great. This app does not make it easy. It crashes constantly. During matches, during deck building, loading back into matches after crashing. It just crashes over and over and over again. It is so incredibly frustrating to not be able to actually play the game at times because this app is incredibly unstable.

2 ★ I love mtg, been a player for many years (2002) but I can't say this client is in any way good. On here or pc, both crash both and have issues connecting to direct games. There is constantly lag issues or bugs, I would think that would be top priority to get the client working properly then pushing so many cosmetics or things that are a non need for the game to run stable. This is honestly just disappointing, especially since I can't play at my LGS since I'm disabled and it is harder to get out.
