RaveStar is a classic arcade game that combines progressive gameplay, mesmerising music and stunning synchronised psychedelic visuals.

Photosensitive seizure warning
A very small percentage of people may experience a seizure when exposed to certain visual images, including flashing lights or patterns that may appear in video games. Even people who have no history of seizures or epilepsy may have an undiagnosed condition that can cause these “photosensitive epileptic seizures” while watching video games.

4 ★ This game was something that I randomly stumbled upon while looking for an entirely different app. It stuck out to me for a very important reason, though... I DJ a Happy Hardcore / DnB fusion for fun and at parties, and I absolutely love raves / raving!!! <3 This game is extremely simple in concept, but is surprisingly difficult in practise. I would not make it through more than two seconds of this rolling and probably be very upset the music stopped. The music goes very well with the levels. This would be immediately followed by me forgetting what in the world i was even doing in the first place, which would then be followed by me hugging everyone in the room, which would then lead to me telling everyone how I was happy and loved everything. The ads are plentiful, but are placed / used in a logical fashion. There is one ad between / before levels, and you are able to earn five continues for every ad watched. If ads are not to your liking, the creator has provided a no ads option that you may purchase for a very small, one time payment. I felt the game was worth paying this small fee =) Improvements? Two things. First of all, that bright, white strobe flash is more distracting than cool looking. It has 'killed' me on numerous occasions and doesn't really look all that interesting. Any way to allow view of the level when the flash happens would be acceptable if removing the flash is not viable. My second suggestion is to add lives. I don't like that you immediately lose if you touch the barrier a single time. I get that there's checkpoints, but with the instant lose mechanic, you wind up hearing a certain section of these songs over and over until it gets old. These are my personal suggestions, of course, and other players may feel differently. If you like EDM, raves, addictive games, and / or MDMA, I'd recommend getting this game!! ~Julia
