5 ★ The series was fun and challenging. The designers put a lot if work into the graphics which added a lot of realism. The ending had more of an emotional impact than I expected. Bravo! I feel that I finally understood the phantoms but it didn't matter. Mysterious atmosphere, consistent and well thought out plot, and ultimately more satisfying than most point-and-click games.
5 ★ Amazing conclusion to an amazing series! These puzzles were actually challenging, the environments were engrossing, and the overarching story was very gripping. The lore wasn't in your face for those who didn't want to seek it out, but for anyone wanting to piece together the mystery it was readily available. My only lament is that there isn't a forum or wiki tying the story together, the ending left me scratching my head a bit!
5 ★ This series is one of the best made adventure games in app format that I've played. Most of the games out there give you a table, and a puzzle, and say "solve it", but never have any substantial storyline. The Meridian 157 series has a deep, emersive, storyline that's reminiscent of the good of days of point and click adventure, although there's no voiceovers. The only thing bad about this series is that this is the end of the series. Seriously. Play this game.
5 ★ The Meridian: 157 series is beautifully designed. Prerendered graphics, unsettling music and higher difficulty puzzles combine to great effect, ensuring the player is completely immersed in the game world. The series ending integrates complex sleuthing and execution (on par for this development team) which results in deep satisfaction when finding solutions to the puzzles. Devs, I just want to say, thank you, thank you, thank you!
5 ★ I've played and enjoyed every chapter of this series of games and I loved them all, very fun and well thought out puzzles and I highly recommend that this and all the other parts of the Meridian 157 series be played. To the developers: well done seriously the amount of detail 8 noticed not just with the puzzles but with the environment was excellent work. 👌🏻 👏🏻
5 ★ Good but ending was eh... This is my favorite series in this type of puzzle game genre. Excellent graphics, puzzles, physics (loved to see all the physics equations), storytelling. It's creepy without being to creepy. Now that you've played the final chapter you can go back and play the other chapters with a new understanding. The game was a good length. I loved how the story developed in this last game. I do have mixed feelings about the ending though.
5 ★ OMG. Just finished the Meridian series. This is the best hidden objects/escape game series I have ever played! The story line is awesome as are the graphics, puzzles, interface, you name it. Each chapter is nice and long, too. The hints are helpful, but don't give a way the whole puzzle so you can continue to work it out.
5 ★ Great series, not pricey, decent graphics, good storyline, I like that the puzzles are not to hard and can be figured our on your own. There needs to be more games like this and please Developers make more!! I would buy! Worth it. One note, the end needed more, like a better explanation, maybe you could get a quick epilogue out??
5 ★ Loved it. Played the whole series. I loved all the bits of lore scattered throughout the games. Very cool story. I just wish at the end I could have taken the suit off and touched "it" to see what happens. There could be a whole adventure afterwards trying to solve the new situation that would create! Anxiously awaiting the next series!
5 ★ I played through the whole series and I loved it! The scenes are beautiful and its immersive and the puzzles are complex and thought provoking. I would recommend starting from the beginning because by the 3rd chapter the puzzles are markedly harder to solve. Great game thats well done.
3 ★ Compared to games of similar design, this trilogy(and prologue) are perhaps less polished, but still great puzzling adventures. The story seems to build well, with enough notes and reports around to help build it in your mind, but this one felt like it dropped the ball at the end. It felt like the plot just fell through the floor and there was really no resolution. I still really enjoyed them all but to end the story so abruptly was kind of upsetting. Maybe a retcon can help tie it up.
5 ★ Loved the whole series! Puzzles were fun and engaging - hints were readily available if you want them, but were mostly unneeded. Art was gorgeous and detailed, and story was unexpectedly heartwarming.
5 ★ I don't normally play mobile games, but I played the entire series in Normal difficulty and I am OBSESSED! All chapters are captivating, the puzzles were just perfect for me - neither too easy, nor too difficult. The storyline was very engaging. Overall a great series, the developers did an amazing job! Can't wait for Aurora hills to come out!
4 ★ I really enjoyed this whole series - interesting premise that made me curious, good puzzles and graphics, needed hints at times and occasionally for annoying reasons but mostly all fine. I did, however, personally find the ending extremely unsatisfying, like the rest had instantly become a pointless waste of time. So, lost a star for that. But still, no serious regrets for buying or playing overall.
5 ★ Very well done! Lots of challenging puzzles that sometimes require thinking outside the box, without having to read the devs' minds to figure out where you're going, like is sometimes the case with these sorts of escape games. Also didn't feel repetitive considering its length. I'm genuinely sad that I've finished the series now. Looking forward to what they come up with next!
