Her career
Warda was born in France to an Algerian father from the Souk Ahras municipality of Sedrata, Algeria, and a Lebanese mother from a Beirut family called Yamout. She retired from singing years after her marriage, until Algerian President Houari Boumediene asked her to sing on her country's 10th Independence Day in 1972, after which she returned to sing. She returned to Cairo, and began her career again and married the late Egyptian musician Baligh Hamdi to begin with him a musical journey that continued despite her divorce from him in 1979

Her real birth was in the song "Ouqati Btahlou", which she released in 1979 at a live concert composed by Sayed Makkawi. Umm Kulthum intended to introduce this song in 1975 but she died. To keep the song for many years Sayed Sidawi until her song rose.

She died
