Hence the first step of the young singer Maher Al-Attar, especially after "Abdel Wahab" asked him to sing. He was confused at the beginning, so what was the musician except that he turned his back on him so that he would not look at his face during singing, so gather his strength and sang "Where is your way, where are you?" And "wronged him." The bid, until it came to the difficulty of covering his treatment expenses in a period of time.

Young singer
Maher Al-Attar won the title of “Young Singer” for his exuberance and spontaneity in his performance. Al-Attar was born in the Bab al-Sharia neighborhood, which gave birth to great stars of art and singing, and he grew up among a family of music connoisseurs who did not object to his practice of art.

He attended the Faculty of Commerce at Ain Shams University, and was studying at the Arab Music Institute at night. He started through the "amateur corner" program on the Egyptian radio, and his colleagues at the time were Adel Mamoun, Abdellatif El-Telbani and Muharram Fouad.


 
One day after his situation had become too difficult for him to present the songs of others, "Al-Attar" went to the house of Muhammad Al-Muji asking for a special song for him.

"Al-Muji" was impressed with his voice, and he composed his famous song "Reach Him", which achieved great success during the "City Lights" concert. And he continued his artistic career after this distinguished start and presented more than 500 songs that combined the emotional, popular, national, and religious color.
Missed opportunity
Through his beautiful voice and the medal he enjoyed, Al-Attar received offers for acting in cinematography. The musician, Mohamed Abdel Wahab, nominated him to star in the movie "Hassan and Naima", which was also produced.

After “Al-Attar” read the movie’s scenario, he withdrew from accepting the offer, because the film’s hero, a farmer, required the role to wear a jalabiyya, while at the same time he was not fluent in mastering the peasant dialect.
