1 ★ Update 28 June 2021. After uninstalling the app and reinstalling TWICE at nearly 2GB each time, the game performed after the early June update. Now with latest update (26 JUNE), it seems Inno has learned nothing from their errors. Once again, all worlds are locked! 😡😡 Odd, isn't it, a new update is issued again a few days later to "fix bugs". Try this.. if it isn't broken, stop 'fixing' it 🙄

3 ★ All in all a nice game. I can't play with mobile data for some reason, which means that after covid I'll probably stop playing altogether. You can speed everything through diamonds, even useless things, so the UI is a bit cluttered with buttons to pay with diamonds, or popups requesting diamonds for every little action, but you can enjoy the game without investing in them.

5 ★ Forge Of Empires or FOE has always been there for me, on my computers and on my phone the only problem I see is that after a while FOE deletes all of your work like when I wasn't playing for about half a year, when I came back on all my work was gone. I still love FOE because you can play it for years until you reach the final era. Maybe it's me but I find that the detail put into the game is so amazing, even to the tiny little puffs of smoke that come out of some buildings are so detailed.

5 ★ I take back my original 2 star review and change this to 5 stars...you absolutely DO NOT have to spend money on this game to progress as long as you can accept the fact that this game is meant to be played for YEARS to enjoy it...you need to guild hop and aid as many people as you can to get blueprints when starting off (you'll know what this means when you start playing)...and do not progress too quickly!! Build and level great buildings early on and joining an active guild is a must!!

5 ★ Decided to give the game another try and I have to say it's very relaxing and I'm having fun. After seeing what's on the store and considering how old this game is, it's by far superior to most games, and also to most games in its own genre. More than that, it seems to have been kept with no ads which is rare todat. Job well done!

2 ★ Design reflects a bias that pseudo-historical games must be competitive. So many anachronisms that the stories dont really make sense, like soccer tournaments during the bronze age while traveling to distant lands to fight with mounted horsemen. Rapid progress is only possible through war and/or purchases. Game froze and crashed frequently. After trying everything else, I powerwashed my Chromebook and ALL progress was lost! The app could not recover my account from the sigh-in. FOEget it.

5 ★ This game is the best city building/attack your neighbors game I've played, and I've played a lot of them. I don't get bored with this one. It just keeps getting better!! Keep up the good work, Inno!!

5 ★ I've always loved progressive games but they're very few out there that generally brings me excitement to grow and evolve my town. Yes its takes time and patience, please consider making pc/console version instead of time use tasks and quests to be able to unlock new building production and military buildings. I think your team of programmers and editors would make a great game, Peace ✌

5 ★ I LOVE this game! Fun when I first started, REALLY fun and rewarding since treating it like a marathon and sticking with it. Been playing daily for 1.5 years now and it still feels fresh, fun, challenging, exciting at times, and overall rewarding. I love the seasonal, internal, mini games. Great game play. Love that it isn't a mobile data hog, and that I can play it when I don't have great mobile service.

4 ★ Had to delete review no space. Game is more fun now love my city options. Shuffling neighbors helps alot. I've learned not to rush through ages it helps keeps me strong in the present. The inability to rotate buildings is frustrating but I love the puzzle challenge & it has made my city beautiful. Yes it does get frustrating on some aspects like the negotiations part where you can't negotiate, if short good, unless you pay diamonds & if your wrong you loose goods/diamonds. Dont like that part.

5 ★ Extremely detailed and well thought out game that isn't too easy nor too hard; requires patience and planning, events are interesting however require daily play to fully appreciate their benefits. Plenty of game modes and challenges.

3 ★ So I'm revising my first review, if you can get to the mid game, forge of empires is a blast without spending more than $20 a month. If you make it to the high levels you don't even have to spend that to have fun. On the front end of the game is rather predatory, im not sure if it's designed in or a design flaw but you get stuck in neighborhoods where you almost have to pay to advance because of a lack of active players.

5 ★ Dear Inno Games. F.o.E. Again I have read a lot of reviews . There's a single theme appearing. Everyone wants Diamonds . But doesn't want to pay for them . Tough! Only 1 suggestion : ( Add a Diamonds challenge to get more chairs in the Tavern. A diamond reward for each chair gained . Perhaps 20 chairs would give better chances to win more discounts for the purchase of those Diamonds Everyone seems to fuss over . The game is 100% free to play. Thank you 😊. Forge on!!!

5 ★ Love this game, Its a matter of learning to survive and by no means " pay to win " although the options are available to purchase things, If you use your brain its an excellent challenge. Well done developers, Nailed it!

5 ★ Brilliznt game sure getting extensions can be hassle but its brilliant you can choose to be a farmer, trader etc.. if your looking for a game to farm and enjoy your in the right place. For the Devs mabey add a small dice game in the tavern so players can wager silver tokens or for those spenders mabey wager forge coins 10 wins maximum every 24 hours.
