Famous ProverbIdioms Painting
Proverbidioms is an oil painting by American artist T. E. Breitenbach depicting over 300 common proverbs, catchphrases, and clichés such as "You are what you eat", "a frog in the throat", and "kicked the bucket". It is painted on a 45 by 67 inch wooden panel and was completed in 1975 after two years work, when the artist was 24. The included sayings are painted quite literally and appear comical and bizarre, especially if one does not at first realize what the painting is about. For example, "You are what you eat" is represented in the painting by a carrot eating a carrot.

1 ★ First level great started second level did first 10 then said had completed 100 so the bug is not fixed ....was really likeing the game too.....edit I really want to give it no stars exactly the same problem occurs when get to level 2 ...then cannot move to level 3 cause you haven't been able to earn more coins

5 ★ So much fun! It's really good esp for non-native speakers to learn idioms, the explanation window is just right (with a meaning, usage example and origin), but the artist's imagination in depicting the idioms really stands out! Really recommended.
5 ★ I first found these "Proverbial" posters at the physician's office. Thought they were cool and the art work well detailed. Unfortunately, you never have enough time to read them. Now this game lets me enjoy it all while testing my skills

5 ★ I love this game and l can`t get enough of itplaying in the early hours l get lost in its world. The devs are to be congratulated for making an all round game with wonderful art work and an easy to play and find puzzles. I have found one glitch upon opening the game: picture 1, at question 154 "the hand that rocks the cradle" does not respond to taps the only way to answer is to pay out coins. This also happened in "where to hang the hat" . 2 coins wasted. Still wonderful game recommended !!
3 ★ I love the game. Its clever and unique. However its very glichy. It deletes my progress and it gets stuck all the time. Please fix this
1 ★ It's fun and I love the learning aspect however once I put it down and come back to it, I either can't click the answer or I can't switch the idiom or level. Lots of glitches unless you do the whole game in one sitting which noone has that kind of time. If it worked when I can play it it would be pretty cool.
