First introduced in 1982 by Gottlieb, Q*bert was critically-acclaimed and went on to become the one of the most successful arcade game of all time. It inspired home versions, a variety of Q*bert merchandise, numerous copycat games and even an animated TV series.
Q*bert Classic stays true to the original in all its jagged 2D pixel art glory, now optimized for touch screen control. As the title character, players jump around an isometric cube pyramid and convert each blockís color while avoiding familiar adversaries Coily, Ugg, Slick, Sam, Wrong Way and Red Ball. Levels become progressively harder with more enemies blocking your path and the tiles requiring multiple jumps to change to the required color.
Q*bert Rebooted takes the arcade classic and catapults it into the 21st century with 3D game play yet remains faithful to the original. Featuring hexagonal blocks instead of squares, Q*bert Rebooted introduces new enemies, playable characters, power-ups, traps, gem collecting and characters, and new ways to play.

2 ★ Only got this for the original. If you're gonna go to the effort then do it properly! Wrong music for green ball/level starts. Only a squeak for Slick/Sam, no sounds for extra life or disc bonuses, Q*bert facing wrong way at start of rounds, only one noise when losing life, Slick/Sam far too slow. Balls/monsters disappear as soon as on disc even if Coily not around. Has so much potential as the graphics are spot on. Annoying!!
3 ★ The Classic portion of the app is great. The Rebooted portion crashes before loading completely everytime. I'm using an S8, so there should be no software compatibility issues.
2 ★ A classic game that's completely ruined by the controls. You swipe one way and it goes the opposite way of the direction you want to go. It's hard to enjoy a game where you can't control the player.
1 ★ The new update requests permission to my location. I denied it permission. However the mere fact that I paid for this game only for it to ask for my location is enough for one star. Remove the requesting permission to my location and you get five stars.
4 ★ The controlls are fine but there is no tutorial or explanation of them so that's why the other reviewers are having trouble. There are three ways to controll Qbert. 1. You can use a controller and push the joystick diagonal to move which works fine for the original Qbert but is a little tricky for the rebooted version because it uses more than four direction. 2. You can tap on the space you want Qbert to hop which works for both games just fine. 3. If you are playing the original game then you can tap on the corners of the screen to make him move in that derection. Bottom left corner is diagonal left and down ect.
1 ★ I was excited to play this game since it was my all time favorite game but was let down when I played it for 10 seconds. The controls are all messed up. You try to go one way and qbert went the other way. You obviously swipe right and down and it goes left, up and over the edge. Cant get past the 1st round.
4 ★ Great job porting this gem but I think this game loses its feel when it's converted to touch controls instead of a physical stick. Nothing that's the devs fault, again, great job, but the overall feel and challenge just isn't there tapping the screen.
2 ★ Controls are a cancer to the game. Exit button blends in with low right button which causes you to accidently exit in the middle of the game. Then when you sometimes press exit, your character moves to the bottom right.
3 ★ Get on to the app, immediately greated by an ad. Click play; greeted by the same ad then crashes to the first opening screen, just to be greeted be the same ad AGAIN. Gameplay is great. Controls are okay...
3 ★ I hate the controls. I think that a d-pad is way better.
2 ★ Controls did not work when you got to the bottom. Very unfortunate, as I think this would have been a fun game.
3 ★ sad turn for an awesome game so many f**kin ads. hey! i know! why dont you add even more ads! new ad every time you turn a new square!
1 ★ I was so excited to play this game, but excitement quickly turned into pure annoyance, as I cannot even control Qbert's movements. Extremely difficult!! Not to mention there are way too many "enemies" for the first board. Like, what the heck?? After many numerous attempts, I finally got to the second board with one life left, only to die almost immediately, then the game ended. This game was NO FUN at ALL, and I'm probably going to uninstall it sometime today - but I'll give it another chance later after calming down a bit from the aggravation this has caused me. :(
2 ★ Too many times I try to jump on the disc on the top of the board on level 1 board 4 and it jumps DOWN AND OFF! NO MATTER HOW HIGH I TAP! I WANNA BREAK MY PHONE! I JUST CLEAR THE BOARD WITHOUT USING IT.
2 ★ Great game ruined by an absurd control setup. Especially bad because I have a large phone screen.
