There was a time when mad kings and grand wizards feuded over magical artifacts. A time when stories of dragons and their lust for treasure were not stories at all.
That is, until they faded into legend, and the Kingdom of Ardéme was born. Yet the road to prosperity is fraught with strife – a foul mist swept across the land. Its rotten reach was not boundless, however. An endless source of divine protection was found flowing from a single sacred cup: Holy Water. Nevertheless, the kingdom's demise was sealed when King Arthurus' closest confidant, Grand Sorcerer Ambrosius, was bitten by a vampire lord and fled the land with the holy cup in hand, never to be seen again.
With the fall of the once-mighty realm, the Miasma ravaged the land without mercy. Ardéme became a desolate uninhabitable terrain, and with nothing to keep its evil in check, the malevolence reached neighboring Camrone. Ardéme's heir to the throne, the young Prince Danjaq, was granted refuge by Camrone's ruler, Duke Baudricourt. Dreaming year upon year of reclaiming the cup, when the moment came to face Ambrosius, he met the same fate as his father.
The Miasma grew denser, hungrier, and more powerful by the day, gushing forth from countless mysterious Labyrinths littered across the land. Baudricourt, resolved to see an end to the crisis, assembled a force to investigate. Many lost their lives, as he discovered all too late that the Miasma possessed the power to manipulate the Labyrinths to act out its evil will, and without sufficient Holy Water to protect his troops they were like lambs being led to slaughter. With his numbers dwindling fast, Baudricourt ordered his Overseer, Alah'wi, to send word to the four corners of the land... "To Arms Ye Courageous Adventurers, Heed The Call Of Duty!"
And so begins the Age of Adventurers. A tale of Holy Water, the Miasma, and Labyrinths!

1 ★ Someone out there managed to get the rights to develop wizardry series games but then took a giant dump all over it.. $8 wasted on this claptrap.. whoever the developer was- I hope you managed to retire & live the life you always dreamt of because something was obviously bugging you, I mean, you knew what RPG's were & even knew how to write code but for some reason you decided to inflict this upon us? ..that should probably be a priority quest for RPG enthusiasts everywhere; what terrible tragedy inspired the creation of this in the first place!? Can't say enough about how horrible this game is. 😂💩👎

5 ★ Bought it over a year ago. Still love it. Plays smooth on Galaxy Tab S3 Galaxy, Galaxy Tab S4, Galaxy S10+ and Stylo 5. Dev you made a great game don't pay attention to the naysayers.

5 ★ Great game with no IAP. Seems like all heroes default to male, even if they're female? It does have an offline mode when there is no internet. I do get some sort of "not found" error message sometimes when attempting to identify items. I'm still iffy on upgrading heroes but trying to figure it out. Love the pace of the game. It's a great stylus game for my Stylo 3. It does have a long initial load time, but once the game loads, the rest runs very smoothly. Hopefully there will be an update to fix the gender issue!
4 ★ needs an update concerning the error messages 'item not found' when identifying things and lack of female characters,either remove gender option completely or fix. third problem is sometimes unresponsive ui. other than that everythings great. if update fixes these issues ill rate 5.
4 ★ Love the game but I'm getting so damn tired of the bug that when you click on a character, a screen comes up and you can't close it or back out and the only way to fix it is to close the game. If this isn't fixed soon I'm going to refund it. Tired of losing process because of something so silly as not being able to close a damn screen.
3 ★ i'm not quite sure what to make of this game. Nice graphics and sound, and an exceedingly rich, but also way over-complicated, set of options for party development. The "daily rewards" and seeming pressure to make "online friends" reek strongly of free-to-play/pay-to-win apps, yet there are no IAPs. The two-minute startup time really kills it, making it impossible to simply start up and play for a few minutes during a train commute. Often, by the time it's finished starting, i've lost all desire to play.
2 ★ The most important fault is that it's boring. It feels very much like a free game (ads/IAP game) that was disguised as a premium game at the last minute. Your job is to guide a party of heroes around boring and samey dungeons. You spend your treasure on acquiring new heroes, hoping to find ones that don't look like creepy little boys. Rinse and repeat. It's a shallow and easy experience, and not roguelike (there is some gentle permadeath). There are better games of this type for free - even taking ads into account. Maybe it would be OK if you want some mindless pseudo-rpg fun, but I don't really recommend it.
1 ★ Can't play in multiple devices and the game is broken. Always returning to town while you are in labyrinth which will result of loss items.
1 ★ Seems promising but why even give the characters gender if you are forcing them all to be male. Please let there be female characters, thats to be expected in games like wizardry. I really want to like this game but two other things are bugging me as well. So far theres not much variety to the dungeon tilesets and it looks like the characters all have the same outfits dependinf on thier race and class? I understand there are a lot of variations but it just gets monotonos
5 ★ This is one of the best old school style adapted for tablet games I have found yet. Reminds me of the old Wizardry games I used to play to death. Please make more of these!
