Description
Euchre is played with a deck of 24 standard playing cards. There are two teams of 2 players each.
When naming a suit (ordering up trump), a player states that their team intends to win the majority of tricks of the hand. A single point is scored if the team takes three or four tricks, and two points are scored if the team takes all five tricks. A failure of the team to win three tricks is referred to as being "euchred", and that team is penalized by giving the opposing team two points.
A caller with very good cards can "go alone" (order up alone), in which case the caller tries to win the march without a partner. The partner of a caller in a lone hand does not play, and if the caller achieves the march (winning all 5 tricks), the winning partners score 4 points. If only three or four of the tricks are taken while going alone, then only one point is scored. If euchred while playing alone, the opposing team still only receives 2 points.
The primary rule to remember when playing Euchre is that one is never required to play the trump suit (unless that is the one that is led), but one is required to follow suit if possible.

5 ★ This is a challenging game, and I am still trying to figure out all the strategies. I never played Euchre prior to using this app/card game, even though I play other card games with my friends in person, not virtually. I think this helps keep my mind sharp so long as I don't spend too much time on it.
5 ★ Most excellent and I like the option dealing with tables, cards, and the mode of easy ext.... It is the first one I ever tried. The rest of the free ones r ok. Do not buy anything. Don't delete that particular euchre game pls. Thank You, Jackie L Rumler
1 ★ Every single time my "partner" deals, he calls trump and we get euchred. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Ridiculously poor strategies executed by the "players". Computer hogs trump-calling on every hand, even when the player's cards would never justify calling trump in a real-life game. Too many ads!!! Been long looking forward to a fun, realistic euchre game. This is not it.
1 ★ I have noticed that trump is played and they come back in the same suit they just trumped. I hate that! I would give 0 stars, but it's not an option!
4 ★ I used to play this game 45 years ago and enjoyed it very much.. I remembered the basics but couldn't find the rules and had to relearn by chance.
3 ★ It's a decent game. It gets tiring getting dealt a lot of 9's and 10's for most of my hands. Also, the bot team end up getting a jack on the bid pile when they deal most of the time. It could be more even on these things, I'm getting ready to uninstall.
1 ★ Ads are over running the app when playing at bottle of screen you have ads that are disruptive while playing can't concentrate on the game apps too loud and annoying
1 ★ Ads....then some ads....followed by some more ads. Ads as a banner across the bottom of the screen during game play. Full screen ads between each hand - not each game, each hand... Not a card game. It's a dang commercial.
4 ★ There are commercials after almost every hand is a bit excessive. Volumn on some commercials is excessive. Overall it is okay until a better app for Euchre.
5 ★ Only thing this app is missing is a cumulative score for games played that could be reset. Great game and fast dealing and playing of cards.
5 ★ A great way to play euchre when you can't get together with friends. Also helps keep you tuned up to the game for the time when we can play in person once again.
5 ★ Great game. Fast play, easy to follow and no 'kinks'. Ads are easily closed. Really enjoy this version of "Euchre"!
1 ★ Starts out good like every other game, then it's nxt to impossible to win, your bot partner will make Trump on nothing so you get euchred, also you get ads every hand or every other hands
3 ★ At least 75% of the time I have no trump. One of the other computer players has gone alone more than 30% of time. There is a commercial after EVERY hand. The only nice thing is you can click out of the ad but it's still annoying to have to stop after every hand. I'm deleting the game.
2 ★ You do not play by the rules. Example. You can not order your partner up and then have them play along, and if you go alone you must take all trick's. You do not get any point's even if you take 3 trick's. Check out the rules the book according to Hoyle would be a good place to start. I have a copy if you need to read it!
