Download the latest Kana Balls application, version 1.4.3, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Educational app is developed by FalsinSoft and is easy to download and install.

Description

This game allow to learn Hiragana and Katakana characters set. Basically the goal of the game is to match the two characters set that can be combined in all ways, Romaji with Hiragana, Romaji with Katakana, Hiragana with Katakana and so on. Two type balls will drop down containing same character but in two different kana tables. You have to drag the balls of one color over the ball of different color contaning the kana character you think will match with the moving ball. In case of error a green color will indicate the correct match.

NOTE: Please, understand I develop this app in my free time and I have a limited number of devices I could use to test it. This mean I can not guarantee this app will work well in all existing android devices around. If you have problems try to contact me through email or Twitter instead to leave some useless negative comment here.

5 ★ Incredibly practical to memorize/study your kana. You can match romaji and kana or hiragana with katakana equivalents. Fun way to learn.

4 ★ Does what you would expect, but I would either slow down the rate at which kana are added or removed. Even better would be a customizing feature for that speed. Besides that, great idea, no false promises, no annoying ads and so far no bugs. Keep it up.

5 ★ This makes learning the kana very fun and easy. Highly recommended!

5 ★ Nice game!

2 ★ you need to remove the minimum character requirement. I want to be able to practice 5 different characters at a time and slowly add more as I feel comfortable. Requiring to begin with a minimum of 37 characters is too overwhelming. Better off making a version where you start with a full screen of bubbles and clear it with no timer, the game moves too fast for me at beginner level.
