What is Killer Sudoku
Killer Sudoku is a true legend among number games and puzzles. In a nutshell, it’s a perfect blend of those fave brain-twisters Sudoku and Kakuro. Absolutely free!
This number puzzle goes by many names: Sumdoku, Addoku, Cross Sum, etc., but the rules are equally simple across the board. Your goal is to fill the grid with numbers like in classic Sudoku while making sure the sum of numbers in the cages (areas separated by dotted lines) is equal to the number in the upper left corner of that cage. How to play Killer Sudoku
✓ Fill all rows, columns, and 3x3 blocks with numbers 1-9 exactly like in classic Sudoku
✓ Pay attention to the cages – groups of cells indicated by dotted lines.
✓ Make sure the sum of numbers in each cage is equal to the number in the upper left corner of the cage.
✓ The basic rule of Killer Sudoku is that the sum of all numbers in each 3x3 block, row, or column always equals 45.
✓ Numbers cannot repeat within cages, a single row, column, or 3x3 region.

1 ★ It's a real shame the developer chose to be so greedy with the ads, because I really enjoy the game. I give 1 star for ads every single level, but give a bonus star if I enjoy the game. No bonus star here, because there are TWO ads per level. It would have been 5 stars if ads were limited to 1 every 3 levels. It's just painfully excessive. You could have had a great game AND made money... But instead you made it miserable to play, so people uninstall, and you don't make money.
1 ★ Lot of problems are in this game. Really bad game. If I give correct answer and press another number this game tell I made a mistake. Pls make it right and if I press hint is a correct answer box they give that number again and take a hint back. This game will be super if these problems are not there .I'm going to uninstall this game make update and give a response. And main point is there is only less ads in this game.
4 ★ It is a 5 star game. It's just the amount and length of the ads that cause me to give it 4 stars. It is a well done game. Good variety of challenges. I think it's worth putting up with the ads. I play it a lot. Just be prepared for 30 seconds of ads before and/or after every game.
5 ★ It's a little weird playing this game, because they have all the boxes with the numbers in them as to what the boxes are supposed to equal to. To me I think that's giving me extra hints to help me solve the puzzle. Never had that before, but whatever it takes to win. I like it.
5 ★ Sudoku is great by itself but adding a mathematical component really changed up the game! I'm addicted. The math doesn't make it harder, it makes it easier in my opinion. I don't get stuck as long on the hard puzzles.
4 ★ I have never been very good with numbers, math hasn't been the easiest for me. It would be very nice if you would grant an undo on the mistake part if someone does an undo because they accidentally touched a number that wasn't intended for that space.
3 ★ This is a great sudoku game. Minimal ads, though they sometimes like to pop up in the middle of the game. However, the main draw in (the "more difficult" boxes where you can determine the numbers by math) is wonky. Every so often, doing it "properly" doesn't work. 9 and 2 don't make 7, but that might make this puzzle work. Not sure if I'm just completing the puzzles in a different way or if this really just doesn't work.
3 ★ Decent game. The math aspect for it allows for some entertaining logic and reasoning. However the only downside is the frequency of ads. I could understand at the end of every game and whenever you want to use a hint. But when im on a roll entering numbers and an add pops up in the middle of it. It really turns me off and kills my momentum. 5 stars if the ads stop popping up in the middle of the game for the free version. Or make the pay to remove the adds cheaper.
1 ★ I find there to be no purpose to the "killer" in the title. A better description would be cluttered. The puzzle is now just absolutely buried with clue boxes and makes it harder to reason what numbers go where as you brain wants to focus on just those stupid extra boxes.
2 ★ I was hesitant in downloading this app after reading all the other reviews, and I had to uninstall it for much the same reason. Mid-game ads. I get having an ad before or after games, or both. Money is a thing and this app is free so revenue has to come from somewhere. Sure. But mid-game? I had gotten into the flow state in an admittedly great version/variant/evolution of sudoku. And then I was brought to a halt for some junk. Way to screw up a sure thing, I guess. 👍
2 ★ Three mistakes and the game ends, except even if you've gotten the number correct and accidentally click the next number you've found, it counts as a mistake. Not intuitive at all and punishing in a way that makes no sense.
5 ★ Pleasant game with varying degrees of difficulty in the daily challenges. Simple to get the hang of. Ads are reasonably frequent but can be closed after 5seconds so you barely notice them. The new coloured background is helpful in distinguishing blocks that go across different squares. Personally, I usually choose the dark setting but it is good to have four options. For a free game, you have a surprising degree of control over how difficult you want to make it for yourself. Simple. Enjoyable.
4 ★ I really enjoy the game, but recently ads have stated popping up mid game ruining a thought. I even attempted to follow the steps to remove the ads, and the "remove ads" button didn't do anything. Didn't bring me to a purchase page or anything at all. Probably won't play much longer if ads keep showing up mid game. Also, would be fun if we could compare our times and scores with other users.
4 ★ Love the game. There are ads which I accept are necessary but when the ads freeze i stop playing, getting ready to delete. I don't know what the ad is but it is 15secs & all you get is a blank white screen, with no option to get out unless you go back to home screen, & start again. The freezing has stopped but ads are popping up mid game. I understand the need for ads between games, but if you're trying to better your time the break in concentration during play prevents that.
4 ★ Good game. Slightly easier than classic sudoku, which involves too much guessing and backtracking. This train your logic without frustating too much. The only frustating thing about this game, is the mid-play ads. Got bored after 1.5mo, uninstalled.
