TRAPS N' GEMSTONES is an adventurous platform game, among gamers typically known as the "Metroidvania" genre, from Donut Games, the developer behind chart-toppers Traffic Rush, Sunday Lawn, the "Rat On A" series and many others.
THE PLOT
Precious relics have suddenly started to disappear from a well-hid pyramid that has been guarded by Bedouins for generations, who claim to have spotted an unknown perpetrator.
As a freelance archaeologist and expert on ancient explorations, you've been secretly called in to Egypt to help them solve the mystery.
Arriving at the pyramid's entrance empty handed, your journey starts off by searching some well-known chambers for items and weapons to help you on your quest.
But as you get deeper into the pyramid, you begin to realize that this mystery will require more than just a whip, a sharp mind and a good amount of explosives to unravel.

1 ★ Crashed after about a minute every time on my Pixel 2! Its a real shame, because i paid for it, and this game just looks awesome

4 ★ The look is amazing, like a snes game in an Indiana Jones type setting. The gameplay is like a platformer with multiple play styles, barrel shooting, cart riding, swimming and exploring. The story is a typical one but good and funny. Just wish there was an option to toggle score collecting and 100% collecting, making the coins and gems stay gone after getting them and maybe something to spend them on, its one hit your dead so maybe on hearts or bullets or a secret chamber locator on map.
5 ★ Excellent platform game. Lots of exploration and discovery. I enjoyed it so much i sat down playing it for 3 hours tonight. Found all the relics, and now i am sad to see the game over... but i didnt find any of the secret rooms, so that is something to look forward to on my next playthrough. The only thing i feel the game is lacking are bosses. Still, a fantastic game. Good job to the developer!
4 ★ Nice graphics. Fun little puzzle but nothing overly difficult. LOT of backtracking. Reviews I've seen called it a Metroidvania game but I wouldn't go that far since there are no bosses. Don't understand why the gems/coins are there as they don't mean anything short of attaining a high score which doesn't reward you anything. This game is more akin to Pitfall. Still, a fun little game .
4 ★ Very good game. Only one thing is needed for developers for my opinion: please make an option reset/don't reset highcore after the death. It is very interesting just to find all gems everywhere and it's very bore to pick up all of them from scratch every time.
