Description
"Tower Behind the Moon" is a 400,000-word interactive epic fantasy novel by Kyle Marquis, where your choices control the story. It's entirely text-based—without graphics or sound effects—and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.
You have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to transcend your mortal state one month from now, in the tower where your magic is strongest. Miss this celestial conjunction and you will die. As you prepare for your ascension, however, you battle increasing dangers.
Your tower is your sanctum, but also a target for enemies you've made over a lifetime of treasure hunting, sorcery, and war. Angels and demons haunt your workshop while mortal princes demand favors and concessions. Your servants–themselves half-gods or more–fight for your attention and scheme to claim the tower for themselves. And the wretched shade of your mentor, who failed to ascend, hints that something out of your past plans to destroy your future.
You hold the keys to heaven, hell, and the outer darkness. You just need to find the door.

5 ★ This game is just incredible. I finally finished my first playthrough and will start again after finishing this review. The whole time i played it I thought, "Oooh i gotta play again for that choice, and that one, and this one". So many outcomes and endings to find, I'm gonna do it.
5 ★ Really interesting and fun. The writing was engaging and the setting was a real delight. I wasn't too fond of how the time limit was presented as it often felt I'd missed something but I enjoyed this too much to really hold that against the game.
4 ★ I enjoyed it very much I liked starting as a bad ass power house and skipping the building power phase though I do enjoy that to I hope there's a sequel my only problem is the reputation factor I feel it's a bit random sometime I would start the game and in 15 choices later the towns folk respected me and the wisarding world to other time choosing the SAME choices I would spend the rest of the game trying to have them not hate me I do really wish you could enjoy being a God longer
2 ★ There is so much lore, and so many side characters, with such incredibly long names and incredibly convoluted backstories fit in so limited exposition, that it simply became utterly confusing. To not acknowledge the word limit inherent in such choices games, and the corollary limit to how developed a plot is able to be, results in a head-scratching story, that leads to the reader simply closing their eyes and picking an option.
5 ★ Excellent read. Many different magics available for use and I really liked the characters that the writer created. Highly recommend and its on sale right now too! I bought this game and didn't regret it. Also good for multiple playthroughs.
5 ★ The only negative part about this game is placing it in the negative spot to be mad like the creature you spawn! its great..its got stuff..like pop culture references including majoras mask reference or oh making fun of how you convienently play god as a living continent is cool becoming god as the world to not be god seems fitting to me i guess if you like..plants(no life) try reading it lightheartedly(if you really need a reason to keep the Negativity you have to pay for it guys..eventually😅)
5 ★ Holy sweet merciful christ muffins on a bicycle never in my life have I read a choice of game with so much effort! It will take me a long time to make my way through all the playthroughs I want to see.
5 ★ One of their best, I must say. By far the highest replay-ability of any of their games, and one of the highest qualities and longest length stories to boot! Surprised this hasn't gotten more attention.
5 ★ my only complaint is that, for me atleast, having the randomised genders and names be a part of the game kind of ruins it because it make some dialogue awkward and usually makes the characters more bland.
2 ★ Not the best of their stories. You kind of start out as this super powerful character. I prefer ones which have you build up your own power. Relationships are a little limited, but not overly forced. Overall, decent, but not great.
5 ★ I am blind and I love to play Choose Your Own Adventure Games. I find this one especially fun and very enjoyable I've turned around and played it again thank you
5 ★ Outstanding. A classic fantasy epic in a style I don't often see any more. Grapple for ultimate power in an elaborate and fascinating world.
5 ★ Battles are the best! this is an excellent read, well written, and exciting at every turn. can't wait to go again and try other options.
2 ★ Unplayable lag on my device, and the screen keeps moving to the right of the text. Frustrated, and the link to contact support isnt working! I would otherwise rate 5 stars.
3 ★ Story was okay, I somehow ascended but the choices didnt really make sense. It was kind of hard to understand what stats were being applied to the choices. Not bad not good.
