Kuromasu can be classified as a binary determination puzzle, like Hitori or Nurikabe, or as object placement puzzle like Battleships or Star Battle (Two not Touch). The puzzle is invented by the Japanese puzzle publishing company Nikoli and it first appeared in 1991. The word kuromasu is Japanese and translates to something like "where are the black fields".

4 ★ Nice game. Lot of hints make me lazy. It's too easy. Hints should be less. Either best offline game
5 ★ Like a fresh combination of minesweeper and nonograms. There are ads, but they are short/skippable so I don't mind them the way I do in other games.
5 ★ A puzzle system created by a maths genius. These puzzles are the ones I have consistently used for entertainment and sharpening my mental skills.
5 ★ Over 2.000 puzzles completed (difficult & fiendish), my favourite puzzle by a mile. Might have to start again 😂
3 ★ I prefer the App "0h n0", mixing both versions of counting makes the puzzles confusing.
