Description
The game ranges from 7 to 15 players. These players are randomly divided into alignments - Town, Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists and Neutrals. If you are a Town member (the good guys) you must track down the Mafia and other villains before they kill you. The catch? You don't know who is a Town member and who is a villain.
If you are an evil role, such as a Serial Killer, you secretly murder town members in the veil of night and try to avoid getting caught.
Roles
Town of Salem has 33 unique roles ensuring a different experience each time you play.
Before a game starts, players are put into a lobby where the host can select what roles will be in the game. Players are then assigned roles at random from the list of chosen roles. Game Phases
Night
The night phase is when most roles use their abilities. For example, Serial Killers stealthily murder people, Doctors heal people who are attacked, and Sheriffs interrogate people for suspicious activity.
Day
The day phase allows the Town members to discuss who they suspect of being an evil role. Once the voting phase starts a majority vote from the town will put someone on trial.
Defense
The defense phase is when you plead your innocence to the town. Have a convincing story or find yourself facing the gallows!
Judgement
During this phase the town will vote on the fate of the defendant. Players can vote guilty, innocent or abstain. If there are more guilty votes than innocent votes the defendant is sentenced to death by hanging!
Customization
Players are able to choose their own map (town setting), character, pet, lobby icon, death animation, house and a custom name. The other players in the game will see your selections.
Achievements
There are currently over 200 unique achievements in the game. Earning achievements will grant various in-game items.

4 ★ Pretty good game, but not without it's fair share of bugs and glitches and the community is a very unique breed of animals. I do feel as if the vampires as a whole need a rework, especially the conversion mechanic. There are so many things I hate about the converting I can't even explain them all as there's a 500 letter limit on the rating "Tell us more" box. When you can write an essay on why a mechanic in a videogame is unfair and annoying you know you have a problem. Others feel the same way.
5 ★ Great game, among us is my favorite, and this rivals that. Newbies to the game, check the wiki to find out how to play, and you'll get better as you go along. Great job making this, I play it every day.
4 ★ Great game, been playing it for years and i love to NK buffs, but i stoped playing about a year ago cus the game kept crashing. I recently got the game again, and it still happens, i have to have 4 bars of internet or else it freezes and says "network subsystem down" or "check local network" i understand sometime there will be problems, but it happened a year ago and still happens now. I dont have a pc to run steam and play, so this is my only way to play. Please fix!!
5 ★ This game is the pinnacle of the perfect murder mystery game - where you have a role in the mystery, endless hours of fun and every game is different. In the new wave of Among Us, Town of Salem is still a classic and provides a different and more intellectually challenging gameplay. One thing I gotta say though is that the community has visibly degraded over the years especially ranked. Mess up and you'll be harrassed by players. But there are still some great people who have stuck with it.
5 ★ This game is overall just amazing. I feel like the price and things are a bit expensive, but it was the best $10 I've spent in my life. I play this game for hours during the day never getting bored. I love the unique idea and amount of roles and fun things that you can do here. I love some of the skill and brains that this game requires. This game is seriously amazing. I recommend it to all my friends.
5 ★ This game is amazing. I like the variety of roles + the possibilities in the role list. The game modes are fun (even if some are dead) and even if you dont have premium, 1 ad for a 15 - 25 minute game is pretty good.
1 ★ I would definitely have given this a 5 star review if not for a terrible bug that has happen recently. Basically I can not login, everytime I put in my information it will freeze and I've let it sit for 10 mins and still was just on the login screen I really hope u fix this soon cause I'm really looking forward to playing this game. Once this bug is fixed I will definitely change my review to a 5 star
3 ★ It's an ok game. My main issue is the damn paywall on order to access the Merit Shop. What's the point in earning Merit Points to spend in the shop if you're forced to buy the Mobile Premium just to use it? And if it wasn't for the fact my girlfriend enjoys it, I would've deleted it. I know it's a petty reason but things like that just annoy me to no end and I hate having to pay just to access an ingame shop. Especially since I prefer to play games online without having to pay.
3 ★ I love this game, I used to play it a lot while it was still via Flash on PC. My problem with the android app is that it keeps on crashing. I can't play properly when the keyboard take so long to display when typing in the chat box. Sometimes, the game exits before I even get a role. Please, help me with this problem.
4 ★ Good game, better then among us. Introduces various roles which is why ut stands out compared to games like among us. But, there's too many bugs I experience each game, my internet is always on spot and the game keeps lagging. When you write your will am save, it doesn't save. The lack of game modes and having to pay for coven is annoying because coven has overall better skills and abilities compared to mafia.
1 ★ It says my IP has been restricted from playing, although I haven't played in 2 months, and I can either pay for premium to end the restriction, or wait it out. Even when I played 2 months ago, I played normally and did nothing wrong, just played the game as anyone would. If this is a glitch, please fix it.
3 ★ This is a really good game. I deducted two stars because- Glitches- 1). If I have a free Coven ticket, even when I play solo in any mode, I am the host, which is not possible, since there has to be a person in a certain mode. 2). If I close the app, it blackens and glitches. Otherwise, I am really into social deduction games, and although I felt that a beginner should have practice games. But it's a really good concept. I used to play Werewolf Online earlier, but this is much better than that!
1 ★ Fantastic game, fun concept and can be competitive but the deal breaker for me is that it CONSTANTLY disconnects and I could be playing one of my favourite roles or about to get a win and then get disconnected and lose everything and It just RUINS the experience of the game tbh. And before you try and tell me it's my internet, it's really not, I have one of the best connections out there and everything else seems to work perfectly it's just this game in particular.
4 ★ Town of Salem is a brilliant game, maybe even better than Among Us. You are put into a game with 15 other players and you find out who is evil, and killing other players. It is overall generally fun to play. I would give 5 stars but my only problem is the game is incredibly battery consuming. This issue may not be possible to fix, but that is fine. Would highly recommend to anyone over 12 years old
2 ★ game was fun until I got IP banned for no reason known to me. I have no idea why because I never cussed in game and I didn't bully anybody or do anything out of the normal. I have resorted to playing on my computer but because of this I have mostly stopped playing.
