The original Planescape: Torment was released in 1999 to widespread critical acclaim. It won RPG of the Year from multiple outlets for its unconventional story, characters, and amazing soundtrack. Since then, millions of Planescape: Torment fans have enjoyed exploring the strange and dangerous city of Sigil and surrounding planes.

Discover an incredibly rich story and a unique setting unlike anything else in fantasy. Defeat strange and alien creatures, engage in rich dialogue, and explore the dark and dangerous Planescape setting in this 50+ hour RPG classic.

This is Planescape: Torment like you’ve never seen before.

Story:
"What can change the nature of a man?"

You are the Nameless One, a hulking figure covered in scars and tattoos collected over the course of countless lives—none of which you can remember, but are now coming back to haunt you. You are prodded awake by Morte, a floating skull and keeper of secrets, to embark on an adventure taking The Nameless One from the dirty streets of Sigil into the mysterious Outer Planes and even into the depths of Hell itself.

In your search for answers, you'll find companions matching the bizarre nature of the planes: a chaste succubus who can kill with a kiss, a confused crossbow-wielding cube, a suit of armor animated by a spirit demanding JUSTICE, and more. With these companions and others at The Nameless One’s side, you will explore worlds in search of answers, all to discover that some destinies cannot be escaped and some memories cost more than an even an immortal can bear.

1 ★ Never had so much trouble with installing an app. Crashed google play the first time and messed up google play services. Took me like 4 hours to get google play working again. Next install crashed on install. Finally installed when i open it the app says "download failed because you may not have purchased this app". Too late to get a refund after all i went through. Infuriating!!!

1 ★ 8/30/20 I AM STILL UNABLE TO PLAY THE GAMES I PAID FOR. When I try to open the game, the update fails and it says I may not have purchased the game, but I bought and downloaded it through the Google play store. I have reviewed the threads you have linked and I have either tried all suggested fixes, or they are not applicable to my situation. I have not experienced this issue with anything else on the play store other than Beamdog products: this game, and Baldur's Gate: EE.

1 ★ The alignment system, a crucial part of the experience, is broken. It matters not how many lies I tell, vows I break, or innocents I slaughter - my character is absurdly and automatically set to Lawful Good. Tis not much of a role-playing game when I cannot play the role that I want to and should be allowed to, as advertised. The only part left for me is that of a displeased customer wishing I was aware of this travesty before the refund window had shuttered.

5 ★ Was hesitant to download at first because of other reviewers talk of problems, "Didn't purchase" problems and issues with newer Android versions. But decided to take the risk and I am glad I did. So far it is just as I remember it from the original except for sharper, cleaner graphics and better audio soundtrack. It is running fine for me on my new Galaxy s20+ with Android 10. The screen is slightly smaller than the recommended 7" but it is still manageable, even with my "fat fingers."

5 ★ An amazing game, expertly ported. Recommended for use on larger devices and the use of a stylus/S Pen is a HUGE help. Seamless playthrough on my Note 8 with all settings maxed.

5 ★ If you're (like I earlier) worried if this game runs and is playable on 8-inch Android 8 tablet, it does, and it is (as of June 2020). Runs without any issues on my Xiaomi Mi pad 4, the fonts can be made larger or smaller in settings, the controls could be larger but overall for Infinity engine game, it runs great. As for the game itself, refer to hundreds of other reviews. It's a masterpiece, if you enjoy talking to hundreds of characters instead of fighting them.

5 ★ Fun game. The port seems fairly solid. It can be a challenge to perform certain actions, but the game flows smoothly despite this.

3 ★ Great game. Stuttering is not uncommon and there is a lot of clicking tiny things for a phone, which gets tedious on a 5.9" display. Didn't see their 7"+ reccomendation before buying but sounds about right. Get it only if you have a tablet or just hop on steam and play it on your desktop/laptop instead.

1 ★ Purchased on sale, installed on Galaxy a10e, (Android 9 OS), worked once. Next time I opened the app it just shows a black screen, and eventually a notice that the app isn't responding. Got a refund. This hasn't been updated it appears since 2017, avoid if you have a newer device. :(

2 ★ To slow for my liking and not the same feel as Baldurs Gate 2 as the storyline isn't as good. Worth it if on Sale and you have time on your hands as the game is big. Edit: 21/01/2020, thought I'd give it another go and I was wrong this gane cannot be played on mobile devices or tablets as the commands are to tiny for fingers, for example (attack here, what move there) 🙄 you have ruined a good game, think I'll stick to normal pc gaming.

5 ★ Beautiful old-school style Dungeons and Dragons isometric CRPG. This game is focused more on story and lore than on combat, which I love. Note, this also means that when you create your character you really should focus on mental attributes rather than on the physical stats. This will allow you to get the most out of the game. Also, these stats will make you a powerful mage, which is an awesome class that can make up for any shortcomings in your physical stats. Buy it! By the way, it's important to mention that I'm playing this on an ACER Chromebook, not on a phone or tablet. It works beautifully and the mouse controls work just like they would on a windows PC. All in all, this is as good as an RPG can get.

5 ★ This is everything I remember from my teens. The greatest D&D RPG ever designed and it's available on the go. If you fell in love with the city of Sigil in the '90's you'll love this edition. Or you want to play an RPG without all that MMO nonsense this game is a master work. Planescape:Torment, with it's eerie storyline, incredible characters, and full grasp of the "planes" is still the most beautiful role playing computer game I've ever experienced. Above and beyond BG/NWN even TES.

1 ★ playing on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, got about 4 hours in after getting to Fall_ From Grace. Then it started crashing anytime I attacked. When it crashed my tablet would make a very loud noise via the speaker, then completely shut off. I cleared the cashe, reinstalled, tried everything because I really love this game. I think it has something to do with magical weapons, Mort's attacks never causes a crash. Sadly I just passed the 48 hour mark or I would have refunded it.

5 ★ Edited from below: Always own up to your mistakes. Ads were from malware I got somehow. Game remains awesome, even though my screen is below the recommended size. Extremely satisfied! The game itself is great. Just can't understand how a game labeled "premium", that I paid for, has ads popping up in game. If I can't find a way to refund, I'll still be uninstalling and getting the PC version, like I should have to begin with.

5 ★ Fantastic game. Famed for good reason. Story, visual design, and world all pulled me in. Very unique! Also great sounds & good GUI. It's a dialogue-driven story. Don't be put off by starting in the weird mortuary; they are not the bad guys, there's a whole city, and this world is a different culture. Characters are great. You can change class any time. Plus lim-lims! Tons of guidance online. Amazing story. Interface has small buttons for phone, but am playing on my Note without a stylus.
