Description
Pro Strategy Football 2018 is a realistic simulation (and game) of American Football. Built around an engine that was developed as a Computer Science Master's project and with the help of a famous football head coach, the game has grown over the years to become the most accurate simulation of coaching in American Football. You can now watch simulated games live, too!
But PSF goes beyond coaching. You can also manage players and teams in the user friendly career mode, where the emphasis is more on getting you through the management portions so you can get to the next season, but still have you deal with aging players and upcoming drafts.
Main features in PSF 2018:
- new realism settings allow you to toggle injuries, penalties, and home field advantage
- can now scout each team’s coaches (playcalling, emphasis, etc)
- you can now have an unlimited number of leagues (teams and players)
- you can easily share leagues, just put them in the game folder!
- export any league to csv, edit the names and ratings (ALL ratings), even conference names and the championship name, and import back to create a league
- have different leagues for exhibition, season, and career
- you can now watch simulated games played live
- greatly improved play calling
- can now view at a glance all your men’s ratings, game stats, etc, while choosing a receiver or runner (or on defense, to help you decide whether to key or double team)
- tweaking the engine for even more realism
The most exciting new feature is the ability to import csv files to create and share leagues. You can now have an unlimited number of leagues (teams and players) and can share them. And of course, you are free to use any names you like - your friends, real players, anyone.

5 ★ Fantastic game! This is not an action nor managment game, it's a strategy game. I believe that most bad reviews are a result of misunderstanding, because this is great new version of Tom Landry Strategy football (TLSF). I was playing TLSF few months using dosbox on my mobile when I discovered this game. It's very much like TLSF, but better game calling with new rosters and better graphics. I'm going to play both games fromnow on ;)
5 ★ Just what I was looking for! This game reminds me of a game I used to play on PC back in the DOS days before Madden came out. The mechanics I've been looking for are all here. I enjoy watching the simulations a lot, just letting the ai do all the under the hood work. Since I no longer watch the NFL, I chromecast this to my tv and I have politic free football! I renamed all the cities and teams so I have my cool custom league. The only football game i want or need. Awesome work!
4 ★ I love what the developer has been doing with this game. I stumbled onto it by accident about 8 years ago, and he has made some pretty great improvements since then. I do have one problem though. Its clear that players have several skills that arent displayed. For example, linebackers have a pass rush rating but you can only ever see their pass defense, rush defense, durability, and reaction. That's just one example, but it makes selecting players in career mode frustrating. Could the developer please add some way to view these so far unviewable skills?
5 ★ I absolutely love this game bruh!!! Whoever programmed this game is a motherfucking genius!!! Only thing I could ask for is a zone blitz and a way to create real passing plays. If I do a long pass, I don't need every available receiver going for a 30 yard bomb. I might want my rb to run a flare route but other than that this game gets my 5 🌟 rating. Hope to see some updates soon!
1 ★ Avoid like the plague. Horrible gameplay and its not worth its price, there are better football games on the app store for .99 cents, there are even better ones for free. This is a massive mistake of a App, and don't look to get a refund if you wait past googles refund period. The developers don't answer if you ask lol. Run from this app
1 ★ this game sucks!!! you cant fix your depth chart. all you can be is a head coach. its not worth 5 bucks it should be free give my money back! i want to be able to run s***. there's no free agency! the music sucks and annoying!! there should be contracts there should be a budget that you can spend on players if I'm paying five bucks there should be more to this game!
5 ★ When is the next PSF coming out i like the game just need to expand more on the way you make plays like having short routes on long passing situation or even like having medium routes on short passing situation a diversity of the route tree and a more creative way of play making.or even like blitzing while in zone coverage
1 ★ AI is so flawed its just a joke that i can be up 38-17 and the ai wins all the inside kicks to comeback 41-38 and penalties are useless 90% of the time are against me NOT! worth $5, should be paying people to play this piece of S#it!
5 ★ Best football sim out there. However there is a glitch with kick returners, as of right now I have a 124 year old returner still playing on my team
4 ★ love it...but the 2019 version needs to be on Android. After FM 2019 this is arguably the best sports strategy game out there.
5 ★ Before y'all release the next psf game please fix some things. Like we should be able to have cap space and trade players. Also be able to change attributes of players just to the game more fun
