SCOPA (initially SCOPA84) because the first version of this game was made by myself in 1984.
At the time it was one of the first programs that simulated human reasoning applied to a fairly well-known and simple game.
In 1984 it was a complex job: personal computers were in their infancy, Windows was still under development and the program was then written for the DOS operating system: an acronym perhaps unknown to some of you.
The few PCs available for the home environment were devoid of graphics and color screen and the cards were therefore drawn with simple vertical and horizontal dashes!
Well, I must also congratulate myself on the fact that the program, even without the existence of the Internet, spread to hundreds of computers nationwide.
If today I decided to (re) publish this game in the form of an APP it is only to avoid that the effort made at the time was lost along with the program sources still stored in an old 5 '' floppy disk.
The structure of the game and the graphic setting remain practically identical and without unnecessary frills or animations.

Initially developed in 1984 as DOS game (no graphics implemented at the time) the game was resumed as app in 2019. It is the classic fucks game very popular in Italy. This a very simple game: no animation, no video, no interactivity with other players but the calculation algorithm is the same of '84.
The app records the best score by itself so you can try to do better over time.
