Description
Other whistles and horns might be added if requested by reviewers.
Backstory: The Nashville Steam Preservation Society is working to restore a J3 steam locomotive No. 576 that has sat idle for more than 65 years. After gathering support, NSPS was able to raise enough funds to move the 576 to the Tennessee Central Railway Museum where it will be restored for steam powered excursion passenger service for Nashville, TN. To celebrate, NSPS is hosting a revival event to celebrate the future removal of the locomotive from the park and the beginning of the process of rebuilding her for service. Previous fundraiser events have involved the whistle from the locomotive being powered by compressed air, but it just doesn't sound right without being on the locomotive with a full head of steam. For special events during the restoration we connect a whistle pull rope to a computer input and simulate the real whistle with PA speakers using this app. There was no app or program available that could do what was desired and sound realistic so NSPS member Alex Mullins set to work to make this app using the Unity engine.

5 ★ i absolutely love it! it actually sounds real (thats coming from someone that's surrounded by the railroad) everything works great and i like the fact you don't need wifi to use it. but i would like to see one feature for the steam locomotive whistle that is if you can add more than 1 type whistle mabey like a crosby 3 chime or southern pacific step top 5 chime, i know the app is about NC&STL 576 but i just think it would be cool.
4 ★ Great app honestly its about time they make apps like this for phones for train lovers to enjoy but i also have a couple concerns about the whistle is there anyway they could add more whistle tones from other great engines that are being restored aswell (for example: whistle of 2716 from the Kentucky steam heratage corp) or whistle 765 another great engine that still travel the rails i really feel like people will defiently love this app more if there were more more whistle tones/chimes
5 ★ Very creative and original! Pictures are beautiful and it's fun making adjustments to the classic horns and bells. I can tell it's in early development but is already a must have for anyone who loves trains! I can't wait for more to choose! Thank you developer and good work!

5 ★ I absolutely love trains, especially steam trains. I've always wanted an app where you could actually control the whistle sounds. I would love to be able to have the Polar Express whistle sound like from the film. Keep up the good work and I hope more steam locomotive whistles are added to the game.

5 ★ This is a great app! It really gives people a chance to see what it would feel like to pull a steam whistle. It would be great to have a rope or lever to make it more realistic, and maybe more whistles/horns for a wider variety (some examples: K5LA, ATSF 6 Chime, K5LLA, etc.).
5 ★ This by far is the greatest app i have ever used. ive been playing with it for close to a half hour now lol one thing id love to see in the future, just spit balling here, would be the Sierra Railroad #3's whistle as well, or a Southern Pacific six chime. I love your app, and keep up the great work!
