3 ★ The game has nice graphics and interesting storyline, however it wasn't for me I guess. I lost interest after completing two chapters and I was wondering if I could get a refund.
1 ★ I was really enjoying the game until it required a gig update - which is too much for my phone, so now I can't even play it even though I paid for it.

5 ★ Definitely worth buying! I love it (๑˙ϖ˙๑) I had the Diabolical Box on DS and I got this as soon as I could. Controls are great. Animation amazing. So far I can't find a single thing wrong with it (っ ॑꒳ ॑c). The story line is interesting. I'm gonna enjoy this no doubt
5 ★ I completely love this rendition of the Layton games! I was hesitant at first because of the change in characters and its move to mobile, but this game has proven to be worth every penny! The music complements the game perfectly and along with the content, helps create an atmosphere that pulls me in and makes me feel as if I was truly in London with them. The cutscenes are also wonderful, transforming this from just a game into a movie with delightful puzzles. Without a doubt, this masterpiece lives up to the lofty name of Layton!
3 ★ I don't enjoy paying for games but when I saw how fun Layton Brothers mystery Room and then saw the advertising for this I just knew that it would be great. Too bad I got over-excited Layton Brothers mystery Room was way better this was more along the lines of solving lots of riddles with a story line that you have little influence in. It's not bad but if I had the chance I wouldn't spend my money on it again. I cannot say it was bad but it fell short by comparison.
4 ★ Having a blast with game. Story is enjoyable, puzzles are fun. One complaint would be the memo pad is very laggy and it's unusable, which is a shame when you want to write down notes while puzzle solving.
1 ★ I adored this game. Bought all of the DLC. I was willing to put every penny into this game. Played it for a while... I saved my game last night and when I went to play today, my saved data was all gone. I had not linked to an account since I wasn't getting a new phone soon. I'm so upset since I was fairly far in the game. The game was good but this is a game running bug.
4 ★ good game overall. bad voice acting, and while that isn't uncommon for the layton games, i've never had to completely turn off the voice volume before. puzzles also seemed to be a lot easier than in past games.
5 ★ One of my all-time favorite apps based on the Professor Layton series. I find myself coming back to this game time and time again for the inticing story and challenging puzzles. Definitely a must-have.
4 ★ It's a pretty good game, do buy it! But many fans have come out disappointed at some aspects from it. I'm not the exception.
5 ★ In case you're new to Layton games, trust me, they're made with quality in mind. It's no indie game. It's a AAA game. Not that indie games are based, but sometimes the quality is not as good.
